They had given me a steroid shot and steroid pills to continue taking for about 8-10 days. Along with a antihistamine. They worked and rash was cleared up. The same rash appeared about 2 weeks later again i went to the doctor and they did the same routine (steroid and antihistamine). Cleared up again. Now 2 weeks later the same rash is back but not as severe. This time there is redness in my face as well.

It might be worth mentioning that the appearance of this rash coincided with me moving to a new apartment, starting to use a new type of detergent and a new shower gel. It is kind of periodical and sporadic and the itching sometimes disappears for few days, and than returns again. From time to time the bumps appear on different parts of my body: my back, my shoulders, my butt, my arms, my thighs, around my knees, around my ankles...

Here she thought she had done the right thing by taking an antihistamine and it had the exact reverse effect. We have no idea what started this whole process and now treating it is a conundrum. She is presently waiting to get an appointment from an allergist but by the time that happens, the hives should be gone. She is trying benadryl cream (topical) and that seems to be working to some extent on the spots on her arms. With any luck, it will help the rest go away too.

Tylenol PM is just acetemenophen and diphenhydramine (trade name Benedryl). I do not have access to a copy of the PDR (unless it is available online) but someone who does could check and see if there are any warnings on those two chemicals regarding PVCs.

i have this rash. or im not even sure if it is a rash! its between one and five bumps on any given finger tip. it itches and makes my fingertips sore. then after a while the skin gets dry and starts to peel... then it moves to other fingers tips. i cant find info on ant website and i have no idea whats going on can anyone help me????
I have had a cat for the last 20 years (I recently put her down) and my housemate just recently got a new one (about 2 days before the rash broke out). The rash is red and inflamed and I am unsure if this could be an allergic reaction to the cat. I have not gotten a rash anywhere else on my body. There are no rashes on other places on my body where the cat has touched. Also, the rash has no puss or blister like qualities. It is, however, quite itchy.
