I personally don't take antihistamine but just some advice I read that - antihistamine suppresses the immune system - never thought about it before - they work like steroids - some very good advice on another forum was - do not take antihistamine if you have lyme I am sure some of you already knew this but just thought I would mention it

How long can i use antihistamine for my daughter aged 7 months to relieve her of the eczema itching.

It might sound like a rant,but I think it is timely for the holiday season coming upon us.

(( I hate to make her get rid of them although we may end up putting them outside eventually. The only symptoms I am having are bumps that itch. Then every 3-4 weeks the puppy should get booster shots, not less than three weeks as it may lead to immune system reactions. Puppies can vomit for no reason or for very serious reasons. If she is vomiting AND has loose stools, she needs a trip to the vet ASAP! She could have simply eaten something that didn't agree with her, she could be infested with internal parasites, she could have coccidiosis, she could have Parvo, there is no way to tell over a message board so veterinary intervention is absolutely necessary.

Perhaps the person that advised you mother on the use of this med has experience with it in young puppies. I really do not. There are other medications and diets I have used for young puppies with diarrhea problems but I also go on the advice of my Vet. I really do think you should take this pup in for a check up and take a fresh stool sample in also. That is the safest thing to do and ask the Vet if it is safe to give this med. Hope your puppy is going to be okay.

But with your pregnancy it sounds like you are saying you maybe are finding the care of a new puppy too much. If that is the case, you might reconsider the puppy. Poorly trained puppies turn into poorly trained dogs, and nobody wants a poorly trained dog.

My Pitbull had TEN puppies one month and two days ago. Its staring to get cold out and im wondering when i can take them out for their first time just in the yard. They are walking and have started eating gruel.

I think its fine. Puppies are always amazing pets. My dog had 3 puppies and we have them all. They're a year old so we have 4 dogs in total . They know where to go to thw bathroom and they also know when to go inside their cages. Since their hair doesnt fall off its perfect. Don't let others imfluence you. Do what'll make you happy but be responsible.

Since then I have avoided taking any antihistmaines except for Benadryl. I did take an occasional Claritin but it seems like every time I did anything I break out more. My allergist told me to try Claritin tabs instead of gel caps but I took one after having my allergy shot and I broke out in hives again. Now all the pollen is out and my eyes are really itchy and red and I have a hard time seeing at work. I tried taking Atarax last night to see if that would help more than Benadryl.

not life or death type allergies, but sneezing, itchy nose and eyes, headaches. I take a one a day antihistamine to deal with it. .. but it says on the box not to take if pregnant. Im only 7 weeks, and have stopped taking them... but my allergies are horrible at the moment. All the sneezing is not helping with my morning sickness. What I WOULD do at this point, however, is report HER to her local SPCA for knowingly selling puppies that are sick with parvo! What breed is the puppy? Is he AKC registerable?

thanks for the reply, yes i googled that before messaging and the only one it shows is Seldane, because of the problem with this antihistamine and that it had been taking off the market (not a newer antihistamine), i wanted to know of any other antihistamines? are there no others for enlarged prostate sufferers? 2nd question is after stopping the intake of antihistamine that effect the prostate, woiuld these be a short term effect and the prostate goes back to how it was?

You really do need to get these puppies to the vet, however, because once the pustules start, if you do not treat the disease aggressively, the pustules can cause severe scarring of the facial features. The disease is sometimes misdiagnosed as staphococcal pyoderma.

a good thing to do is to start off the puppies with puppy milk formula (if the adult dog is not there) which is available at petsmart or petco and you can get a bottle made for puppies while getting the puppy formula,just hold the puppy and try to shove (gently) the bottle in their mouth eventually the puppies should start drinking the milk,and first start the puppies off with wet food rather than dry food,you could also mix the puppy formula with the wet puppy food.

If she is ready to deliver the puppies she needs to be at the vet. NOW. If she is pregnant but there is still time before she has the puppies, make an appointment with the vet to have her spayed so she doesn't have to have the puppies. It is very dangerous for her to have puppies at this young age.
