How long can i use antihistamine for my daughter aged 7 months to relieve her of the eczema itching.

not life or death type allergies, but sneezing, itchy nose and eyes, headaches. I take a one a day antihistamine to deal with it. .. but it says on the box not to take if pregnant. Im only 7 weeks, and have stopped taking them... but my allergies are horrible at the moment. All the sneezing is not helping with my morning sickness. During my last pregancey my symptoms actually went away but not this time... my question is can i take my antihistamine?
It would help to use some OTC antihistamine or antiallergic medications like cetrizine or loratadine. You could use calamine lotion for local application at the sites of the lesions.
Have you had any such reactions in the past? Is there a positive history of allergy in the family?
If the symptoms still persist, you should consult your doctor about it and also ask him/her whether you need to see an allergy specialist.

My bowels have been obstructed so many times from the constipation that i have one bowel moment every 3 weeks. After 5 years amitriptyle stopped helping me sleep but the severe constipation didnt go away. Tired of all the side effects 3 months ago i quit cold turkey. Ive had suicidal depression everyday for the past 3 months. I never had depression this severe b4 the amitriptlyne. For the insomnia ive tried trazadone zopiclone seroquel clonazapam...havent gotten any sleep for the past 3 months.

I had the exact opposite thing happen. I was constipated before taking the progesterone cream and began having easier bowl movements when I did take it. I am not on progesterone cream at this time though. Extra Fiber cereals and water have me on schedule now.
May it be caused by something else that may be coincidental with the timing you started taking progesterone cream? Just a thought. But then again, it is possible for every individual to react differently to it too.

Here's one for the books. My daughter has had a allergic reaction to an oral antihistamine she took for what appeared to be hives just below the right side of her derriere. This little bout of hives were taking their time going away and so she thought by taking the antihistamine it would help the process.

Along that line, though, water is one thing, but if that is the treatment plan I think that you should be adding a softener as well, such as the ones made by dulcolax or others. One bout of constipation is going to destroy a couple weeks worth of healing!

Do not mix antihistamines though such as an oral antihistamine and spray. Ocean Spray does not have an antihistamine and will simply dry you out and is safe to use with an antihistamine.
com will take you to all of the available antihistamine info. That same site also says that these antihistamine sleep aids are not for people with glaucoma or kidney disease.
I sometimes have so much drainage that I have to take oral antihistamine, too. I hate it, because the oral antihistamine is so sedating.
