There are many other name brands for that class of medicine. Astepro is a nasal spray antihistamine. It stops the sinus cells from reacting to allergens. There are only two meds in this category. Astepro and Patanase. There is an older version of Astepro called Astelin which may stil be available to you, but the company is working to phase it out. Also a prescription strength antihistamine like Allegra might be a good idea.

For the worst of the itching you may want to try an over the counter medication like Benadryl. I buy generic brands from places like Walmart and Target. Just compare the active ingredients on the back or ask to speak to the pharmacist. The problem with benadryl is it can make you sleepy so you don't want to drive after taking this medication until you know how it affects you. there are 2 types, a benadryl lotion, and oral medication. Never use both at the same time.
