I personally don't take antihistamine but just some advice I read that - antihistamine suppresses the immune system - never thought about it before - they work like steroids - some very good advice on another forum was - do not take antihistamine if you have lyme I am sure some of you already knew this but just thought I would mention it

What kind were you taking?

i will check out this drug meclazine. i still say that weed is the best anti-nausea, and cramp medication that was ever put on this earth.it's legal for cancer patients,glycoma etc.why not prescribe it on a short term basis for people with opiate addictions.

My allergist told me to try Claritin tabs instead of gel caps but I took one after having my allergy shot and I broke out in hives again. Now all the pollen is out and my eyes are really itchy and red and I have a hard time seeing at work. I tried taking Atarax last night to see if that would help more than Benadryl. Big mistake since I woke up broke out in bad hives. I had to wait to get home to take benadryl since I am not 100% certain that Benadryl does not give me hives.

I personally take a claritin everyday. I have seasonal allergies and pet dander makes my eyes and face really itchy. My Dr OKed it and said its totally safe. Hope this helps.

I had prior to the vet visit above been given Wilson one half Benedryl 25 mg Antihistamine morning and evening, in the hope it would clear up the paw problem. A couple weeks of this did not produce any improvement. I then checked and saw recommendations to use 1 - 2 mg per pound. As Wilson is j20+ pounds my does level was low. I have decided to continue giving him Benadryl but now one 25 mg capsule morning and night. Hope it keeps his paws and general itch problems under control.

as regards liver i have no idea, try to google oxidative stress and weed, if weed can increase oxidative stress it is definitely bad Is it as dangerous as alchohal? no, alcool can be much more dangerous than hbv itself even on those with no hbv.

Had an eczema with itching outbreak on forehead area and took a Benadryl antihistamine pill. Fine for 24 hours, then took another and that night had a three hour AFib episode. I remember about 20 years ago, I last took an antihistamine and got flutters. Is there a connection between AFib and antihistamine, ie have others an opinion or experience of this?

I am 5 months pregnant and I feel like since I became pregnant that I crave weed more than I did not pregnant. I have no appetite unless i smoke. Is this a bad thing? Can marijuana harm my baby?

A day or so ago I was swimming in the river behind my house. Its not really clean water, but habitable enough to have tons of sea weed and, further out, fish. I swam for maybe about a consecutive hour. Later in the evening I sprayed myself with anti-bug spray. (Mosquito repellant?) I've tried googling some possible diagnosis, but I can't find much that match my symptoms. Any ideas? What could this be? How can I treat it? Do I need to see a doctor?

I am only looking for a second opinion based on facts known about allergy shots. I am not sure if my doctor is worried about hurting me or if I am totally wrong. I seem to benefit more when it was strong enough to trigger a small controllable reaction 4-6 minutes after an injection. 2 hours later when the reaction wore off I felt GREAT! This question is if they are triggering a reaction does that mean that they will not work as well?

The weed is a mild hallucinogen so the main thing it will do is intensify your psychosis a little. I used to smoke weed to deal with my schizoaffective/bipolar symptoms and it helped for a while. If you're taking the antipsychotics then you should cut WAY down on the weed. Your body has to fight through everything you put in it to keep you healthy and if it's trying to use the AP's to fix your mental issues, it'll be fighting through the THC to get to your brain.

t know if the medication with the weed is good or if it is making my condition worse in noticeably but as of right now I have had literally no problems with smoking while having svt and being ON medication. I have no idea if you will be ok smoking weed while having svt and being off medication.

hey this is a super old thread but just incase someone is out there looking for answers, I'll add my 2 cents. I've been diabetic for 20 years now. I'm 28. I've been a regular pot user for probably 10 years. I firmly believe that used (not excessively) for diabetics, that pot can help a vast number diabetic complications and symptoms. This has been backed up recently by research on weed and diabetes.

My friend smoked weed for years and she found out she was pregnant she quit. Sober for 5mnths. Had 2 failed USA due to just finding out she was pregnant. She called me told me she hit a pipe cause she was really upset and couldn't calm down.

I wouldnt risk it.. I lost two babies and Im pregnant with my third Im now 34+1 and feel blessed I have made it this far.. I have a cerclage in that is literally tearing my cervix apart I went to L and D yesterday and I refused to get it removed bc I dont want her to be born this early.. I wouldnt sacrifice the health of you're baby just bc you like to smoke pot.. when you have the baby you can go back to doing what u like! I know you can do it! best of luck to you!

the next day i felt anxious and sad i kept on feeling like for about 3 days then i felt really dizzy but then i felt it start to ware off but then i when to a friends house and took 1 littel hit of weed and i felt good but as soon as it wore off i started feeling anxious and have till today its been 2 months and sometimes i feel weird i just feel like im not really here and i remember how i felt when i got high and it scares me i need help please anyone please help

I ask these questions because I can not help but to think this is partly a reason for you and Kim no longer being together. You do know only you can stop all of this. The Booze is bad very very bad It will kill you and everything you love very fast especially with emotions that are not dealt with They all come up behind the booze and they do not come out well...

My boyfriend has depression and he has done for years it's always been on and off for wow years and he has always smoked weed on and off for years! But now his depression is at its worst and has been getting that way for the last year, he has also started to smoke more over the past year.

Weed, klonipin, and abilify feel damn good in moderation. Less body high but I like that. No tingle. I'm just couch locked. Other than that I would think you're golden. Just don't go overboard. Makes me personally get stuck in my head or depression.

Risperidal is a medication prescibed specificaly for bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, both of these conditions have been proven to be negatively affected by smoking cannabis. I would strongly advice you against such course of action and guide you to talk to your doctor/psychiatrist.
