You need to have an evaluation to see if he might be dealing with a sinus infection, first. Otherwise, allergies can trigger it and an Antihistamine can be prescribed by your Vet.....

I personally don't take antihistamine but just some advice I read that - antihistamine suppresses the immune system - never thought about it before - they work like steroids - some very good advice on another forum was - do not take antihistamine if you have lyme I am sure some of you already knew this but just thought I would mention it

After the 3rd week, I am having chills with headache. I recently developed a toothache as well and I noticed the chills and headache coming after the toothache. Am I in risk of contracting HIV? And I plan to take a home hiv test.. Will that be accurate if the result turns negative or is it too early for me to take the test?

My allergist told me to try Claritin tabs instead of gel caps but I took one after having my allergy shot and I broke out in hives again. Now all the pollen is out and my eyes are really itchy and red and I have a hard time seeing at work. I tried taking Atarax last night to see if that would help more than Benadryl. Big mistake since I woke up broke out in bad hives. I had to wait to get home to take benadryl since I am not 100% certain that Benadryl does not give me hives.

I personally take a claritin everyday. I have seasonal allergies and pet dander makes my eyes and face really itchy. My Dr OKed it and said its totally safe. Hope this helps.
