m used to it because this is how my whole body has an allergic reaction, but it brings out various degrees of surprise and disgust among friends and family and coworkers. It's also annoying. From the time it becomes red and itches, it seems to take forever for it to peel and then the new skin to be used to sensation.
I'm using Aloe Vera right now to soothe the heat and some of the itch, and later I plan to use it for the new skin, so it doesn't become too dry and irritated.
What kind were you taking?
Since then, I have been having regular sneezing fits in the morning and during the day. At first I thought it maybe dust etc, so changed my bedding and did a major spring clean but last night I sneezed uncontrollably for an hour and this morning I have been sneezing since I got up (2 hours now). I also have itchy eyes, headache and my nose and cheeks are tender to touch.
It would seem that the nightly dose of Codeine has already caused you to be addicted to this concoction that is only meant to be taken occasionally for coughs and colds.
You need to be honest and open with your physician and you absolutely must stop misusing this combination medication that may very well be causing damage to your body.
My nose then starts to fill with snort and have to blow my nose constantly. I also get mild fever and headaches. I then start to cough and develop a wheeze which becomes worse when lying down and it can get so bad that I can't sleep. The first time I was ill was around the beginning of the year, I was very ill. The problem is that this keeps coming back. I would get better then after a week or two, the symptoms start all over again.
My allergist told me to try Claritin tabs instead of gel caps but I took one after having my allergy shot and I broke out in hives again. Now all the pollen is out and my eyes are really itchy and red and I have a hard time seeing at work. I tried taking Atarax last night to see if that would help more than Benadryl. Big mistake since I woke up broke out in bad hives. I had to wait to get home to take benadryl since I am not 100% certain that Benadryl does not give me hives.
Then I would suggest, breathing treatments with albuterol, my child has had asthma and allergies for 17 years and when she was younger, she was as sick as you, even hospitalized alot. Bronchitis also seems like a possibility, maybe if you can afford it or have insurance go see an Ear Nose and Throat doctor or an allergist.
I believe baby is well protected. But did you have a flu jab? I had mine and it's great!
What are you taking for colds? I've got my first one and haven't taken anything yet.....
I'm a little over 9 weeks and now have a Cold!:( I haven't had any morning sickness and now every time I cough I feel like I'm going to vomit :( the doctor said I could only take claritin. HELP!?

Also guifenasin (robitussin or mucinex)which loosens the secrections in throat and chest can be helpful with colds without affecting dry eyes so much. Just some general comments - discuss situation with your doctor to see of claritin and mucinex might be something that you could possibly take without affecting dry eyes too much.
Green phlegm is usually a virus. With the flu, there is usually more body ache and a fever up to 102 degrees F. Colds often have more runny nose and sneezing. There can be a little body ache, but it's not so much you desperately want to stay in bed or return there if you forced yourself to get up.
For a cold take zinc gluconate (it has to be gluconate) tablets, 50 to 75 mg. I don't recommend the lozenges because there is sugar and you don't want sugar when you're sick).
