Also is taking 400mg of Acyclovir enough for suppressing viral shedding, or is 400mg 2x daily going to suppress viral shedding that much more. What is an estimated percentage of suppressing viral shedding with both aforermentioned doses? Also where is a free/cheap place to get a HSV blood test in California? The thing with me is that I don't have outbreaks at all. The first and last one I ever had was a year ago after I was first exposed and diagnosed. The sores showed up about a week after I was with this person. Since then, it's almost like I don't even have herpes. I'm just VERY confused about this, and how to explain it my boyfriend.
