I am 3 years post breast cancer i had lumpectomy chemo rads i have taken tamoxofen for 2,5 years now on aromasil i had a bone density scan and was told i had low calcuim levels, now on calcuim sandox and actonel asked if i had osetoprosis and was told no have read around actonel and have not taken it yet as of the side effects please can you advice thanks.
I take once monthly Actonel. While I was pushing the pill through the foil blister, it broke. I did not take that pill for fear that it could cause stomach problems. My question is would it have been safe to take? Also, if I contact Proctor & Gamble, do you think they might replace the pill. If it was a daily pill, I wouldn't worry about, but I just lost a whole month of medicine due to a faulty package design.

I will check out that website. The drs won't let me take things like actonel or that class of drugs as my osteoporosis affected the bones in my jaw and they are afraid to take the chance as with those drugs there is a risk. I was disappointmented about the forteo. I think that drug is more dangerous than its worth personally.

i currnetly am taking actonel for my bones the past 3 years and klonopin i per night and take alot of vitamins such as B compex etc. no alcohol consumption but i do smoke half a pack of cigarettes per day no other medical conditions known 6 months ago all my blood workups were normal . ANY IDEAS WHAT CAN BE GOING ON WITH ME ?
and really swollen nodes under jaw, both sides. It verz strange because after medication it still persists.Im not sure if thats how look flue.Im really scared. My question is (i know that you saz+fingering not a risk) but what if there was quite big amout of sperm blood..because I have never have fever for that long without any progress. And what about ARS,which nodes are swollen, is it possible that onlz these under jaw(they are really big)??
Right hip replacement. I'm on requip, lyrica, cymbalta,celebrex, just starting actonel plus vitamins & calcium. thank you. I'm 76, female. I have osteoporosis of the right hip and osteopenia of the left hip. I have peripheral neuropathy (familial), and two bad knees.
I am just tired of taking medicenes that seem to cause other problems. I think I have the GERD from taking Actonel even though I followed the instructions to the letter for taking the Actonel. No longer take it. Just take calcium.
Then 2 1/2 weeks ago I got pain on the right side of my neck. It eventually was a swollen lymph node under my jaw. The following day my armpit began to hurt. There was a sore there so I applied a warm towel and the swelling went down some, but the bump is still visible. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with a swollen lymph node there. The pain has been gone in both areas for awhile now but I still feel them.

Day by day my symptomps becoming very worst... Swollen glands under jaw..painful white coating on tongue, very bad breath.., burning sensation in throat and esphog..weight loss..groin pain..these all symptomps are making me to fear about death..because of these symptoms I could not believe my 9th week test result which was -ve..I am very scared about next test...will it turn +ve? When he went down, she was near the stairs, completely stiff. There was blood at her mouth and her jaw was clamped tightly. I have taken fosamax and actonel and have had stomach problems and aching bones. My doctor is thinking about the yearly injection of reclast. How safe is it and will I have more problems with my bones aching - I can't sleep at night a lot from the pain.

He wants me to see a rheumatologist but an available appointment will be months away. I am 75 and have been on Vytorin for at least 5 years as well as Actonel. My bone scan last year was good for someone my age. What should I do while waiting to see an arthritis doctor? How serious could this be?
