i currnetly am taking actonel for my bones the past 3 years and klonopin i per night and take alot of vitamins such as B compex etc. no alcohol consumption but i do smoke half a pack of cigarettes per day no other medical conditions known 6 months ago all my blood workups were normal . ANY IDEAS WHAT CAN BE GOING ON WITH ME ?
I am 3 years post breast cancer i had lumpectomy chemo rads i have taken tamoxofen for 2,5 years now on aromasil i had a bone density scan and was told i had low calcuim levels, now on calcuim sandox and actonel asked if i had osetoprosis and was told no have read around actonel and have not taken it yet as of the side effects please can you advice thanks.
I take once monthly Actonel. While I was pushing the pill through the foil blister, it broke. I did not take that pill for fear that it could cause stomach problems. My question is would it have been safe to take? Also, if I contact Proctor & Gamble, do you think they might replace the pill. If it was a daily pill, I wouldn't worry about, but I just lost a whole month of medicine due to a faulty package design.
t let me take things like actonel or that class of drugs as my osteoporosis affected the bones in my jaw and they are afraid to take the chance as with those drugs there is a risk. I was disappointmented about the forteo. I think that drug is more dangerous than its worth personally.
Are you still working as an RN? I am not able to work now and I miss it so much.

Since early hours this morning ive had really bad Tooth and jaw pain then the pain went to the bottom of my jaw and the top of my head then it stopped then I had a bad jaw and earache then that stopped then I had a pain on the top bit of my nose to my head and so on, I got told that jaw pain in pregnancy but ive never met anyone who has had It, is this Normal it not becuse im in alot of pain and paracetamol never works!!

i am 27 years old and have developed sinus over the years, with the change of seasons i sometimes experience discomfort in my face like the nose area and eye area when the wind blows my eyes get teary and i seem to cough, and about a few months ago i went to a doctor and he explained that there is swelling in my jaw appearently i have some sort of an overbite which is causing some skewness in my mouth, he gave my muscle relaxers to ease the pain, but the sinus pain aswell as the jaw
It is very closely associated to the TMJ and completely responsible for your jaw and tooth functions. It feeds sensation and function to your jaws, face, tongue, sinus, palate, eyes, teeth, and lips.

The first root canal on #30 tooth was done on May 21 and then about five days later I started getting pain in the tooth area and thoughout my jaw area and into my ear. I went back to my endodonist who said it was not the tooth and then referred me to an oral surgeon/Maxillofacial dentist who said I was having jaw spasms due to the fact that I had two root canals done just a few days apart and my mouth was open for so long.
Did you have a previous jaw injury? Jaw pain is also on the list for a symptom of a cardiac event. Any possibility of that? Stress and posture issues can aggravate it.
Have you tried any nsaids like ibuprofen or motrin for it? That would reduce any internal immflamation and acts as a pain reliever. Does it do anything for you? There are other meds they might use but this is where I'd go first for sure. Then if that doesn't work, they do have other things you can try . . .
I have noticed the pain go to as far as my jaw. I though it maybe something to do with my jaw because my jaw is set far back anyway (i have problems with my teeth) but I am getting no pain in my jaw.
I have no vision problems. I was tested 2 months ago because doctor noticed I had large optic disks but the eye doctor said I was fine and it was physiologic disk cupping, meaning i was born with it and its not harmful.
Since that incident I have had head aches and dizziness on and off for this past yr. I have noticed increased jaw pain that extends from my jaw near my earlobe up to the front/top side of my ear.
My question is what damage could have I caused in that yelling incident. I had no previous problems before it. Where do I go from here. Should I see a dentist or oral surgeon. Your comments are greatly appreciated!
I have taken fosamax and actonel and have had stomach problems and aching bones. My doctor is thinking about the yearly injection of reclast. How safe is it and will I have more problems with my bones aching - I can't sleep at night a lot from the pain.

Hi! Are you currently taking any medication for your anxiety? I'm curious because I am having a time with my jaw being really tight and having pain and soreness! I am on 75 mg of Zoloft and I don't recall it starting until I started on medication, but I know clenching in general from anxiety or from anti-depressants can cause clenching of teeth, which can cause the jaw pain. I also have the exact same thing with my arms. I have, too, been afraid of it being heart related.
I know many people with this and it can cause headaches, neck pain, ear pain, all kinds of pain in your head/face area. First I would talk with your regular doctor then maybe a referral, if your doctor agrees, to someone who specializes in TMJ disorders. Please remember this is just a guess, so see your family doctor first OK. Good luck and let me know how it goes. Take care.
ENT docs all had me on Nexium on and off. Was told to stay on it. After about 3 months, was having bad low back pain and pain on the top of both thighs. I then had a left rib fracture of unknown cause. At that time, no side effects like this were published. I did find a small group with similar symptoms but my Doc said it was not the Nexium. I stopped it and within 4 days, the flank and thigh pain were gone. I was later put on Omeprazole, 40 mg 2x a day fir the past few months.
