I have been feeling better however after recieving the antibiotics beginning with amoxacillin, I have been getting red blochy rashes on my neck, chest, back, and biceps. My rash does not itch but does feel very hot. Most importantly my rash will appear for no longer then 10 minutes and then dissapear. Hours or so later it will come back in the same spot with minimal if any swelling. I was wondering if any of you guys/girls could help me out. Thanks.
Look up interferon on that site and find its listed in chemotherapy drugs.
There are many things this could be but not likely to be skin cancer. Try an anti-fungal cream and if that doesn't fix things you might need to see a doctor.
I'm hoping someone out there who has experience with this problem or have any ideas what is going on. I have this skin problem for 7 days and it appears only at this area which is the left side of my abdomen. This happened to me on the same day when I have GERD. Is it normal to have this skin rashes after GERD or this could be Shingles? Please help.
I had a horrible rash all over my chest and neck and chin, and realized (after putting some on my wrist) that I was allergic to my boyfriends shampoo because the spot i put it on my wrist blew up in a swollen rash. He stopped using it. The rash gradually went away, but now its coming back a little, in like spots on my chest. Theres a couple of patches of rash. And randomly a patch on my wrist (not where I put the shampoo) and now on my palm.

I am a 73 year old female. I have had a rash on my outer thighs, upper buttock and going down my legs on and off since the beginning of the year. It is a red rash and it itches. It is not purple. I do not have any fevers, loss of appetite or weight or night sweats. I feel good. I went to the dermatologist and he said he did not know what it was. He said he was leaning towards eczema, he proscribed a cream and told me to try that.
My wife (50) has developed some rashes in her underarm and one painful bumpy mass. Would this be an infected lymph node? Your comments are welcome.
Moisture from sweat or diarrhea may cause itching. If the anal skin stays wet, the skin begins to break down. Some foods irritate the anus when they are expelled during a bowel movement. The most common culprits are caffeine, chocolate, beer, nuts, dairy products, and spicy food. Infections such as pinworms, yeast, and genital warts can cause itching. Hemorrhoids, which cause painful swelling of blood vessels in the anal area, can cause itching. Cancer, in rare instances, may be a cause.
I know with some skin cancers it takes years to diagnose and a friend of ours who has skin cancer had seen my spots when I had about 10 of them and told me they were exactly as I describe them and as they look and it took hers about 12 years for the diagnosis. :((( Please help, I would like to know if one can develop Pityriasis Rosea two months after the first episode? Thank you.

There is a huge increase in the number of skin cancer cases from young women using tanning beds, and it just isn't worth it. Get a spray on tan; a lot of places are offering those now. I hope all works out for you.

I guess I can live with those patches as they are mostly covered if the only way of curing them is a skin bleach. Are skin bleach creams recommended and the only way of getting rid of my patches? Thanks in advance!!
Went to a dermatolgist and he took a punch biopsy to test for melanoma (which it turned out it wasn't-Could not understand how cancer could be on both arms??) This brain fog-skin redness occurs about once every 4-6 months or so. My eyes feel heavy. When I lie down and rest, will go to sleep; just plain tired. Then when it goes away I'm 'normal' again. Cannot figure out what this could possibly be. The rash is on both arms, primarily on inside from wrist to elbows.
I simply chalked it up to either soap or heat that irritated it...Then I read online about lymphs nodes and cancer and all of this seemed to make sense...What do you think?
i wish u luck and no trial/error i hope its detergent ur skin is sensitive to and skin prone to bruise. itp i dont wish u to have but us women we always need to have a label/name for the something we know is strange in our behavior or body knowing ourselves better than any other person includeing any dr. seems as we diagnose and they name it then we have satisfaction of knowing what and y!
The rash resembles an X. The skin is discolored forming the X, but the rash part comes and goes and the discoloration does not. It stays that way. Well now, I have the circular patches that keep appearing all over that resemble psoriasis but I have never had that. I just hope someone can help me figure this out. I have no insurance and cannot afford to see a doctor. Thanks in advance for any help offered!
I have had quite a few bad burns (even got 2nd degree with sun sickness a few years ago in China) and given my history (father w/ skin cancer, his parents with multiple benign moles removed, having like 200 moles myself as well as having a benign one removed as a child) I know it's a very high likelihood that I'll get it.
Is this dangerous and could it turn into something else more serious. I'm a breast cancer survivor and am concerned about my immune system. Please help and put me at ease. The thought of herpes makes me very nervous. Thank You.
Several months ago my 67 yo male friend was incorrectly diagnosed with pulmonary Nocardia. After developing total body rashes after using Septra and Minocyline they did another biopsy and discovered non-small cell lung cancer(Stage 3) He has begun chemotherapy (gemzar and paraplatin) which has slightly improved the rash but it remains. His skin is very dry and these bumps and patches of red scaly skin, though not itchy, are a great source of frustration for him.
