We are both monogamous and are wondering if it is possible to have a skin condition, which is what his doctor said. Is this possible, or should be see another doctor?
When is it not what I think it is? Lately the problem in my gential area is ingrown hairs I am currently waiting for results for herpes. The question is as follows here it is I have a bump that resembles herpes but my boyfriend doesn't have it I never had herpes type 1 or type 2. The blisters has appeared three times in the same area. The bump(s) was originally diagnosed as follicollitis or ingrown hairs. It isn't crusting over however it goes away with a cream antibiotic.
t find out they have genital herpes until something else triggers an obvious recurrence. Many of the treatments for other skin conditions can trigger herpes to be more active too. I went to a massage parlour approximately 20 days ago and I have concerns what occurred. There was skin to skin contact with our genitals. She got on top of me and attempted to rub her vagina against my penis, but as soon as I realize what she was trying to do, I stopped her immediately (approximately 10 seconds, maximum length 30 seconds of contact). I understand that it was superficial touching, but it is concerning. There was no penetration in this encounter.

At this point you need to get a type specific herpes igg blood test to see what your status is. this could be many things from herpes to a skin condition to an improperly treated bacterial infection that you just can't get rid of. follow up properly on this to get better answers.
herpes can present differently . odds are this isn't herpes but it'll take a proper exam and testing to know for sure.
Hello. when we talk about herpes transmission, what does it mean by avoiding " skin to skin contact"? Does that mean genital -genital contact? genital-hand contact?genital -oral contact? or simply body contact?

I was given a needle at the hospital when I went into labour with my daughter I reacted to the needle all around the injection site thought it was an allergy but it recurs OFTEN and is believed but not confirmed to be a herpes infection in the skin. Its on my back so its not near fingers, mouth, or genitals....is it still considered to be an std?
