Before giving birth 2 years ago, I had a few UTI's in my life. I had normal symptoms and was treated effectively with meds. After having him, I became depressed and started Zoloft. Within a few days, I couldn't feel my bladder and had a hard time voiding. I also found out I had a UTI, but I had no symptoms at all. I was cath'd 3 days in a row. At one point, I had a PVR of 220 cc's. I stopped the Zoloft and my urinary issues seemed to subside, so they were blamed on the med.

Hi my son is 14. He has been on Prozac 20mg for over a yr. He mentioned about 3 wks ago that he was hearing a voice but could not tell me what it said. A few days ago he told me this again. He said the voice sounds like a demon and it is telling him to hurt himself and others. I took him to a mental health ER on Wed. He saw a nurse, a therrapist and a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist upped his Prozac to 40mg.

19M. Every so often I'll feel bursts of electric pulses. I feel them in my upper head, the tip of my tongue, my palms and the soles of my feet. Standing up triggers them. Turning my neck from side to side, especially to the left, also triggers them. Often they just happen on their own, though. Each pulse is a fraction of a second, but they come in bursts of three to five. I can hear them, they sound like bursts of static, not too loud. They're not painful, just distracting.

Keep having uti or yeast infection,dr told me to eat yougurt but milk products dont like me,,so she said take acidophilus because im on antibotic....is it safe.im also on xanx prozac,wellbutrin.

So I know what the pain feels like, and with my first pregnancy I got one bad kidney infection that I actually thought was me going into labor, until I got to the hospital and found out it was my kidneys. This pregnancy my kidney seems to always feel swollen. Especially once I start feeling like I have to pee. I can hardly get comfortable laying down because of it. I've never had kidney stones and would hope to not ever get them.

Im being admited to the hospital cause one of my sons kidneys are larger than the other and he has fluid in his tummy, im only 34weeks and they may or may not keep him inside me. Has anyone had this problem? How can this happen to him? Im so sad about this:( my poor baby something can happen to him they said.

I had my first doctor appt today since my mc in august AND since finding out I'm pregnant again...I have been having unbearable back pain and so I mentioned it to my doctor and he said it doesn't sound muscular because heat, massage and stretching isn't helping, he said it could be something wrong with my kidneys, he got a urine test & blood work ordered which I will find out next week the results...has anyone experienced anything like this?

I'm 34 weeks and my kidneys are just killing me. I went to the bath room this morning and I had to pee so bad but it was like I was blocked off. I had a uti already with this pregnancy and I don't think that's what it is. The doc confirmed that I had got rid of it. Does anyone possibly know why my kidneys could be hurting so bad.

With your 50 eGFR, they will monitor that for three months, yes? It it remains low, that is indicative of kidneys not working properly. I understand your concern. What does your doctor say about this. I would stay hydrated during this time. When caught early, these things can be improved! Stay on top of this. Blood pressure okay? Diabetes checked? These are big ones to make sure are under control for the kidneys. Let me know any update.

I have a 14 yr old cat who has been on a low dose, (@ 2.5mg per day) prozac for the last three years. He has alway had IBS, wich I have managed by food choices. Recently he has sarted throwing up foam, and the frequency has ben increasing. Tonight he just threw up foam which had brigt red blood in it. He does not appear to be in any discomfort. After talking to my psychiatrist, he thinks my retention could be because of an antidepressant (Prozac) that I am (was) on because I took one in the past and it gave me acute and severe urinary retention in which I could not empty my bladder at all. I was taking 100 darvocet once a day, took 900 mg of gabapentin a day, 100 mg of tramadol 3 times a day, prozac 40 mg a day, mevacor 20 mg a day, elavil 100 mg at night, 1200 mg ibropofen a day, migraine medicine (maxalt 10) 3-4 times a week. basically I went into the e.r. where they basically were going to send me to the psych ward (which they didn't even have one), I left.

I have this every day now -especially at night . Meds- none new but I do take atenolol rapid heart beat .Ambien. lipitor, prozac.325 mg. aspirin, daily. The finger tips bother me most. Both hands started at the same time so I doubt because of this that it would be carpal tunnel? i was tested for diabetes recently and it was negative =.there is a family history . Help i am really itchy- have had some bumps ( ratches) but it is not always present along with symptoms.
