This new office seems to listen - the nurse spent a half hour on the phone with me yesterday and then called me back about the files. I asked them to look into acquired LQTS due to the triptans and now the prozac and benadryl. The current doc dismissed this without explaining to me her reasoning. I keep thinking the original dr missed it, this one just rubber stamped his findings, and the ped just trusts the two of them. I feel like screaming!
Been drinking the last 10 years and trying to stop. My anxiety and depression are back along with stress. I took Prozac, generic, 20mg for just over 2 weeks. It did make me feel calmer and relaxed but had a hard time concentrating. My head felt numb. I then tried Zoloft but forgot why i did not like it. And recently was prescribed Paxil. 20mg. I am nervous to take this because of reading all the bad comments about it.

But I still have the nausea and of course, now I am tired all the time because the Benadryl makes me tired. I went to the ER and they ran a gambit of tests and said everything looked ok. Could I just now be going through withdrawal from the Effexor? If so, how long will this last? It is really affecting my life/career. I don't want to leave the house I feel so ill. Yes.. I've taken benadryl at night. Mostly to sleep and bad allergies. Its been up and down. It went away but now I'm days away from delivery and having bad anxiety again. It helps when I tell my boyfriend. He's super supportive. Talk to someone. It helps. So does sleep, exercise, no sugar/caffeine.
So i was put on Prozac and that is when i started getting symptoms of hives. My hands were the first that had became uncontrolably itchy, but no hives appeared. then i stoped taking the prozac and i havnt taken it for over a week. still i get random hives, whether they show up or i just itch my skin. some start as a hard lump then get really itchy. others just start as open bump the size of a pea, then that gets really itchy.
m on 20mg of prozac daily, .05 Ativan as needed. Prilosec 20mg as needed. I was on amocicillin for 10 days for a sinus infection. It didn't clear up. so yesterday I started on Clarithromycin, two 500mg tablet in the morning. Last night and today I've been experiencing an increase in PVCs.
I had quite a scare the first time it happened (with Seroquel) and considered going to the hospital. A couple years ago I used benadryl frequently as a sleep aid and never had this side effect. Within the past six months I have used it without having the side effect, and have also used it and experienced the side effect. why would my dr put me on it knowing the xanax would affect it when he prescibed the xanax and prozac/...and i drank 6 non alkie beers the other night and felt like i got a buzz that is odd i have drank the stuff for 2 1/2 years with no effect..pharmmist said it might be that im on higher dose of xanx then i was the ativan.......or it was in my head a botttle has less thn 0.5 percent alchol by volume......
I am able to live with my attacks (which can get really bad at times) and I actually have a fear of taking meds. I think the only thing I will take is a child's dose of tylenol only when I have a fever or migrane. I have discovered that taking Vitamin B Complex capsules have helped reduce my stress and anxiety levels. Also, I still love taking Flinstone vitamins, on top of the vit B complex. I feel great when I don't miss out in taking one a day.
FTM and 18yrs. 21 weeks. Do any other mommys take a benadryl before bed? My doctor told me id be fine to take one before bed everynight. I have restless leg syndrome and have a really hard time getting comftorable at night and falling/staying asleep. I was just wondering if i'm the only one that does this? It helps me a lot.

Has anyone else taken it while pregnant. I'm absolutely sure my dr wouldn't have said it was ok if it were the slighted bit questionable but im still hesitant.

Yes ive taken it bc I have allergies and I am not able to take my allegra or singular during pregnancy and my dr says benadryl only safe med to take...
web md says yes. I was wondering the same thing. I'm 15 w 1 d and have extremely itchy skin all over my body and the tons of lotion I put on does nothing.
Yes but be aware baby will probably knock out too so if you don't feel your baby as much that's why.. I took it and I didn't feel my baby move for 3 days and the dr told me the Benadryl doesn't only effect you but your little one too .
