You have two different animals in your post. Hydrocodone and methadone arent even close to the same. Its mostly the long half life of methadone that makes it attractive for maintenance. A single dose is good for over 24 hours. And a person can be quite functional on methadone. If vic's lasted longer it might have been the case with those also - but its not. A person being maintained on methadone once daily would need 4-6 doses of hydrocodone to remain on something resembling an even keel.

s over 6 months and clean off opiates for over 2 yrs now. Yes I am on methadone and doing well. I have a good life, great job, we just bought house little while back, great hubby that supports me, and wonderful friends.

Believe me, i want to get rid of the cats. But i don't even mess with them. They're my husband's cats. He takes care of them i do not. They just like to annoy me. I honestly only take care of my dog, turtles, and our fish. But like i said, there's absolutely no animals allowed in my baby's room. None have ever gone in there and probably won't ever go in there. I'm keeping my baby away from the animals for quite a while.

Ok so I have a small dog, she is a weenie dog mix. I've had her for 6 yrs and I have a five yr old daughter. I never had any problems with the dog. But ever since I found out I'm prego with # 2 she has been acting out.... Potting in the house, tearing up trash, eating my food if I sit out down to go to restroom ect... Has anyone else had there animals act like this while they were prego? Idk what to do with my dog I luv her very much but I don't need the added stress.......

but yes i recomend the blanket thing to people with both dogs and cats so that way the smell isnt a shock to them...but most animals usually adjust very quickly...

My cat never slept with me in my room he would always sleep in my moms room on her spare pillow with his blanket and ever since ive been pregnant hes never left my side! He throws fits when I leave my room for more than 5 minutes and he nudges my stomach almost all the time every day. Has anyone noticed a change or is it just me?

Or, explain how you are feeling and ask your partner to step up to the plate with her. For him to do more to care for the dog and have the dog fall more under his responsibilities. AND< perhaps a good dog trainer would be in order. A dog should go to the bathroom outside only and learn manners and if you tell them to sit and stay that they do it. so, I'd get some dog training for your pooch to see if that helps. My dog is one of the joys of my life.

Anyone else feel so much closer to their animals now? I have a 8 month old kitten and before I got pregnant she didn't want anything to do with me, now she's constantly all over me and if any body squirts her with the spray bottle I get extremely defensive and she's always wanting to be near/on my belly. Just wondering if anyone else is going through this?

I am sure some of you have animals. I have a sweet black cat and a tiny chihuahua that is a bit crazy. My boyfriend wants to get rid of them before the baby gets here which I think is ridiculous honestly. I have had these two their whole lives and they are my first children. i was just wondering if anyone knows if it's true or has experiencing with their animals sensing when labor was close? I have a husky and she's usually a spoiled brat, she doesn't like to cuddle and she don't lay be me. She stays at the end of the bed or on the floor but yesterday and today she has been laying by me and curling up right against me. Just wondering if maybe she knows it's coming?

My chihuahua will sit and and look at me and just start crying and howling for no reason. And if I walk outside she freaks out and cries she has to literally be with me at all times. Could this mean labor soon? I just don't get why they are being so weird.

i wanted opinions about my dog. I don't know I animals can tell UR pregnant but my dog just follows me all ova my house. I'm mean more than usual since I've been pregnant. So I've heard some people say animals can sense labors near... Has any of yu ladies animals sense labor? Nd if so how did they act? Several more teeth quickly followed before learning it was a possible side affect of taking Methadone for so many years. There was no warning, no pain or discomfort, and even though I had all of my teeth and only two fillings at the end of 2016, my dentist blamed me for poor dental hygiene. I was discharged from the hospital at the end of Feb. My Doctor put me on methadone for the pain. The perscription is for one month 8 pills a day. 4 (10 mg) tablets in the morning and 4 (10 mg) tablets in the evening. My concern is addiction. I currently have a vicodin addiction, but since I've been on methadone I don't crave the vicodin and I haven't went through any withdraw symptoms. Can someone give me some insight to what the probability is to me becoming addicted to methadone.?

Sub only makes sense for you as a step down (temporary) from methadone. Methadone as you know is very hard to get off of and even tougher for 18 years but it can be done. It's makes no sense to switch to sub to stay on sub from meth because meth is a better maintenence drug. It makes a lot of sense to use sub for 6-8 weeks as a step down from meth. There are outpatient clinics that specialize in this for methadone patients and give you meds for when you get off the sub.

Sorry, I forgot to ask about methadone for bipolar...I read that methadone can help with this. I'm desparate to help my husband and keep me safe..I don't want to have to file charges against him for threatening me.

HI you can get methadose from a doctor and pick it up at a pharmacy it is methadone in pill form methadone is usually liquid and is dispensed at clinics you have to go every day to get it most doctors cannot prescribe methadone hence why so many go to the clinics this is nasty stuff I was on it 6 1/2 yrs I would run the other way if someone ever offered to me again it is not a way to get around withdrawals methadone withdrawals are some of the worst you can experence your best off to detox wha
