Lump on nape of neck

Common Questions and Answers about Lump on nape of neck

Was @ dermatologist to have all these things readdressed and the back of neck eruption was an abscess & the other remaining things are stitch granulomas and doing well along the incision line .. Dermatologist cleaned and drained the one on nape of neck & it feels better already. He said would never have gone away on its own. ***** He is going to fully remove the bump under my adam's apple w/few stitches .. this started out of nowhere the day after surgery ????
This lasted for about 3 weeks but I know it was normal because my brother had the exact same thing and many people at work had it too. Almost immediately after cough ended I noticed a pea sized hard lump on the left side of my neck 2 inches behind and 4 inches below my left ear. It is well under the skin and seems to be grown out of the large muscle there that runs until it touches the top of my jaw.
Hi, In fact I think you must go to a surgeon right away. He can evaluate the armpit lump and the 'mass' at the nape of the neck. A mammogram and clinical breast examination is also indicated. Are you a smoker? Pl keep me posted. All the best, and God Bless!
It is situated above and to the right of her left shoulder on the back, almost at the nape of the neck (so between shoulder blade and neck but up high at the nape of the neck). It is under the skin and can be felt at the nearly same position even if the skin is shifted around (we think it may not be a part of the skin), it feels like it is situated on the muscle under the skin. She has had it a week and she finds it annoying.

Hi, i have a lump behind my left ear its hard and its sometimes accompanied by severe headache, nape pain, and nausea. I know that lumps behind ears are supposed to be indicators of infections and that its probably a swollen lymph nodes. But i just find it odd that every time i suffer from from severe headache its getting bigger and harder and always with the symptoms i mentioned above. Does anyone know what this mean? Thank you.
If you have a history of cancer in the family and you are now having headaches and blurry vision. Is it near the nape of the neck? Is the lump superficial like a pimple or boil or does it feel as if there is tissue thickness between touch and the mass. But due to your family history you should go to see your General Practitioner and they will assess you like you deserve.

I am now waking to black and blue eyes and my neck was blue in spots. My husband said the nape of my neck at the hairline has a raspberry like bruise. I also had swollen veins in my hand the last few days. They protruded so much and bulged, they looked like worms. It was gross. I am at the end of my rope. I am exhausted, physically and mentally. Just wish I had an answer.
Hi to all of you out there. I too have a lump on the left inside of my vaginal lips. I am 65, so age has nothing to do with it. I am told. Check into Bartholin's Gland cyst. this may be your problems. but, what ever you do, GO TO A DOCTOR. this could be nothing, yet it could be something bad, and if you put it off, well, we should all want to take better care of our selves, especially with our organs.
Im 22 years old, female and as far as i can remember with my childhood i already had sinusitis. clogged nose, presurre on my head and on my nape. i also had no signs of allergy ( sneezing or drowsiness), what i experience are frequent colds, very yellow colored mucos. as for now, i can't find treatment. i had visited 3 ENTS, and they all suggested for a surgery since i have a nasal polyps. do u have nasal polyps? what did you do?
Recently, I experienced tingles, numbness on my toes, feet, hand, face. It all started with tingles on top of my head all of a sudden while on the computer one night. Then woke up with a phone call around 3am one night and noticed my left feet was numb and tingles. This was last Wednesday. Then Friday, my ears completed got plugged up I could hardly hear only for a few minutes. Since then my ears are more plugged than the usual (I have plugged stuffy ears all the time but not extreme).
I'm maybe 50% sold on this, but still think I may have some kind of allergy or something else going on. Most ENTs would not point this out as a source of the problem, but I happened to pick on, who according to my Physio, thinks outside the box. I will update more after further treatment. Best of luck.
I'm curious if everyone on this forum has had constipation as a recurrent problem. I'm not now, but was all during childhood up until a few years ago (when I started having daily bowel movements). I also consumed mass quantities of milk and sweets as a child and into adulthood. Plus started drinking beer on a semi regular basis about 12 yrs ago. These things would make candida overgrowth a definite possibility acoording to all accounts.
You just struck something with the menopausal age and hormones though and I'm wondering if this could be part of my problem. When I was younger I was on every type of birth control possible and was unable to be on any of the pills, my hormones fluctuated so much and I suffered from severe migraines, and all made me physically ill with what I could only describe as morning sickness, without being pregnant. I did Depoprovera and was fine for a couple of yrs and then had the same issues.
I also took 10,000 units of HCG trigger shot but it has been 8 days since I had shot so I don't know if that could be it. Please HELP!!!
