lexapro mg

I was told to switch from 150 mg Zoloft to 20 mg of lexapro and I am also taking 5 mg of abilify. I am SO WORRIED the lexapro will make e dizzy. Please anyone have insight in this. Please help. I am freaking out and so worried.

Hi., I am currently on 30 mg lexapro but having depression and anxiety again. My doc said I could ramp up to 40 but I have researched on internet and it sounds like even 30 is too high,. I trust my pdoc but am afraid. Has anyone here been on 40 mg lexapro?

Feel great after a month of my lexapro being increased to 15 mg,will this feeling last heard sometimes the feeling good can sometimes fade,for the first time in a long time i feel normal want to stay feeling this good

Hello again I just have another question again. Every morning I wake up and take a 10 mg lexapro and a .5mg xanax. My syptoms of anexity such as the brain fog subsides for a couple hours but comes back. How long is it going to take the lexapro and the xanax to start curing and not just cover up the syptoms? I am getting sick and tired of going to bed everynight wondering if tommorrow I am going to have brain fog or not. I can live with all the other syptoms but not the fog. Please help.

The weight gain could also be caused by other things such as hypothyroidism or DEPRESSION. 10 mg is the smallest dose of Lexapro, tapering off would be like maybe cutting a pill in half but I don't advise it. Don't go off any antidepressents without first consulting your psychiatrist.

I have Lexapro 15 mg from 1 doctor, but my mental health services doctor said most people don't start seeing benefits until its at 30 mg. I was told that if I don't have 30mg pills, I can just take 2/15 mg pills at the same time. Is this true? I'm currently overseas, so I can't get a prescription for the 30 mg Lexapro. i have been decreased to 75 mg and added 10 mg of lexepro. My doc. gave me kolonopin .5mg to take twice daily to assist with the withdrawal. I am scared to decrease again to 50 mg and am scared that once the switch is completely over, I will have a difficult time with getting off of the kolonopin. Ulcers are not listed as a side effect of Lexapro. I would contact your GI doctor about your stomach problems and go from there. We aren't qualified to tell you how to change your prescribed dosage on medication(s). You need to discuss this with your prescribing doctor. Don't assume your stomach problems are due to your medication, it may just be coincidental...ulcers can and do come back.

It turned out I was on a seratonin overload. I am off the lexapro and am still on triliptol. 150 mg in the a.m. and 300 mg in the evening. I feel so much better. I don't take anything for sleep. If I want to have a good deep sleep I take calcium/magnesium combo. It works within 15 min. of putting my head down.

This sounds more like a psychiatrist! Maybe you should see this person since he knows about slow tapering. I still don't know that I like Effexor for anxiety, but sometimes you've exhausted other options.
