nothing seemed to help they help reduce the symptoms for a short period of time but hives just keep coming back, every night I wake up in the middle of the night and find my self covered with red bumpy rash all over my body..even though I took 20 mg of zyrtec before going to bed...I feel dizzy and have a very bad heart burn or acid reflex..seen allergists and my regular doctor..
For about two weeks now, I've been getting itchy hives whenever I lay on my bed or sit on the sofa. Mind you, my husband and children sleep and sit on that same bed and sofa and don't get the hives. I don't feel as if I am getting bit by anything--my initial thought was maybe it was caused by dust mites, but the mattress has been covered and I haven't noticed any...and I am the only one getting the hives.
t the weight gain, hot flushes etc was not enough to contend with... Mine hives however, have come with a nasty dose of heartburn - which all screams allergy to me. I'm anaphylactic and the hives (generally all over) and heartburn (to the point where I can't even sit down, let alone lie down) are signs I'm heading for a crash to epi pen stage. This doesn't feel like that - being contained to only my wrists and inner thighs.

I am a holistic health practitioner, and started reading this website when I came down with a walloping case of hives with angiodema (huge swellings) as well as heartburn, which I have never had before in my life. I had it for 6 months, until I finally determined the cause. Drinking baking soda, or taking baths in it; or apple cider vinegar, etc, all address symptoms, but not the root cause.
I have also been experiencing very painful heartburn, sometimes at the same time I break out in hives. These always occur at night only, which is the weirdest part. Ive gotten heartburn during the day before of course, but my hives always happen at night, late at night to be exactly (always after 12am in the morning). I might also add that the hives I get only appear on my neck, head and face.

July 6th in the evening I had a lap dance, and the lady pulled up my shirt and was rubbing her bare vulva on my stomach above my shorts for half a song. @ home coat my stomach with antiseptic gels for minutes, then wash with antibacterial soap.
Also, I figured out I cannot even take some pills like Pepcid for heartburn because they cause hives all over me and are very itchy hives. The hives today were not bad itchy thankfully. Truthfully, I do not what drugs I can take since I can have either no reaction, hives or swelling. Has anyone else had a problem like this? Any suggestions on how to deal with my allergies? I have many allergies but things have been fairly bearable until pollen season. Thanks.
I take singulair and doxepin perscribed by my allergist to control hives. I sometimes breakout with red pimple sores that hurt. A medical friend said the sores look like spider bites, but I'm sure they aren't. Can either singulair or doxepincause this reaction, and if so, what can I do for the sores short of not taking the medicine. Benidryl and oether similar medicines do not control my hives.
You will be surprised to know this bacteria responsible for GERD, heart burn, acid reflux etc can cause hives. Antibiotics given to clear up the bacteria also take care of the hives. An allergy to H pylori does not come up on allergy tests. I would strongly recommend you to see a gastroenterologist (a specialist who looks after the diseases of our digestive system).

Take her off the ALLERGIA as that can cause bad hives. I got horrible leg pains and hives down both my legs that by the time I knew what caused it I had to use antibiotics to heal it. Try children's ZYRTEC and one Tagament a day. Watch for an hr to see if she gets a allergic reaction to what ever she uses or eats if earache, coughing,itching start remove what ever she is using or eating for one week.
Now, 3 months after the hives started, if I drink even a small amount of milk, I immediately have allergic symptoms, hives, acid reflux and then hours later digestive issues. So, a milk allergy sounds like the problem and I love cheese and now when I look at everything I eat, I consume dairy products every day!
Until I can go to an allergist, I am going to eliminate all dairy products and products containing casein and whey from my diet to see if the symptoms stop.

Allergies/food intolerances are possible symptoms of hypothyroidism.
Tinnitus (4 to 5 days a week), off and on muscle cramps in the legs/arms this tends, arms tend to go numb while sleeping, get winded real easily, frequent heartburn/gurd, occasional hives (usually when I wake up but no angioedema). The last week I also started feeling discombobulated and some issues keeping balance in addition to some tingling in the arms.

In what manner do you get sick? Vomiting and/or diarrhea? Cramping and constipation? Cramping and diarrhea? Heartburn? Gas and bloating? If it's one of these symptoms, you very likely have food sensitivities and may even have true food allergies. See a naturopath for proper guidance on an elimination diet. Usually, this is all that is required if it is food sensitivities. Allergy tests do not work for food sensitivities, even though they are like hidden food allergies.
Wow, I am experiencing a lot of the same symptoms, mostly Joint Pain and Fatigue. It is off and on. I have had hives too on my legs. I used to think I kept getting bit my misquitos all over my legs at night.. but then my husband told me they were hives, because he was awake and there were not any misquitos in our room.
One thing I discovered is that everytime I went to the urgent care center, when the joint pain got unbearable, I would have a low grade fever.
In spring-summer 2013 I got piercing stomach aches in the upper abdominal area and heartburn. These symptoms lasted for a few days and I thought it was too much smoking. I'm 19 weeks and 5 days pregnant, and I'm having some Hella bad migraines. I also have terrible sinuses, heartburn and I've been physically sick alot, with a fever and what not. and now even though I have completed the antibiotics I have been experiencing some of the same symptoms along with hives/welts here and there on my arms, legs, forehead really all over my body. I am having a heartburn like feeling when i swallow and my ears also itch inside when i swallow... I am also waking up to sweaty thighs and sweat stains on my sheets. My fingers and hands hurt and look swollen... I took an hiv test 2 weeks ago after having unprotected sex April 21...
