heartburn in right side of chest

When it was time to eat, as i swallowed, I realised that i was getting a slight pain in the right side of my chest with each swallow, located on the left side of my right breast (NOT my breast hurting, just the location of where the pain is). The pain has continued up to this moment, and I have been burping alot since saturday, but how could I have gas in my chest? And if I did, why would it last this long? I do not get the pain when I breathe deeply, nor when I swallow saliva.

No defiantly not heartburn.

Im 31 weeks pregnant and earlier all of a sudden I got severe chest pain, in my upper chest like right at the top of my boobs. Its mostly on the right side but when I breathe deep it spreads to the left side. It hurts to breathe and I feel like I cant hardly breathe. Its.eased up a little but now feels sore, even hurts to the touch. What could be causing this? Im also having severe heartburn and my son is going crazy in my ribs. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yeah I get heartburn and its a different feeling unusually get heartburn in the evenings it just feels like I've pulled a muscle since years ago I strained the right side of my chest, thanks for your comment though :) :)

what i mean is that the same place it hurts in my right upper side chest it hurts on my right side upper back its like the pain is in same place back and front " i have been getting this pain on and off for abt 4 weeks and recently for 2 days i have a sore throat , burning pain in throat and ears and goes down to stomach but no stomach pain ,swallowing is painfull , what can this be and is this something to go to the doctor abt or do i needto go to the emergency room for this .

s a lump in the back of my throat on the right hand side. Specifically, if I press on the back, under part of my jaw (in the soft area) and swallow, the sensation goes away. ve had same symptoms as kramer6287,ghostnoise. 22 yr old female. pain in chest, thru to back shoulder blades left, right side of chest. stabbing in back, headaches, dizzy, nausea, white clammy @ times. diet not much of anything. scared to eat certain foods stick to what i can and what i know. chest. hard to take breath feels force of pressure on chest. happened since nov & dec 09 gone for 3 mths now back in april not gone since.

Can I also point at that you said it's nothing major that you feel the pain isn't strong that can be acid reflux. It can also occur in the throat. Am not saying you this, but pain in middle of chest is commonly known for heartburn if you don't have any heart problems, which in this case you don't because you had an ekg test. Heartburn happens to many people, it's not seen as something that is medical, unless you get it all the time.

Ive had this niggling pain in my right side half way up the ribs for a few weeks on and off then 9 days ago it was quite severe. I was admitted to hospital where they said it was gallstones, an ultrasound showed nothing. I came home after one night. My chest xray was clear. The camera into my stomach showed gastritis, ( inflammation of the lining of my stomach). Gp thinks its inflammation of the intercostal muscles but it doesn't hurt when i move, when i eat i get severe pain.

m 26 weeks along and have had terrible pain in my right ribs for about 2 weeks now.. pain is both on the front and back of my ribs and makes laying on my right side impossible... anybody else experience this? Is it normal?

ok so it hurts and i put my hand on my left side of my chest and there is a spot where i can feel my heart beating and the times when it hurts is when its beating hard and fast i dont know what it is. Any ways to get rid of heartburn and deal with acid reflux while pregnant?

I am having very loose bowel movements, blood on the toliet paper when I wipe, indigestion, lower abdominal pain. Most importantly is I am having more frequent heartburn and chest pain, which I don't have when I am on the H2 blocker. After taking prevacid for a month I went back and check with my doctor telling him my symptoms, he doesn't seem to care and tell me to contiune to take prevacid for 1 more month. Could prevacid be causing all these symptoms ?
