I am also pregnant with my third child and started having hartburn during 8 & 9th week. Which I never had until the end with my first 2 children. So different this time, lasted about 3 weeks then stopped.

Just keep up on your vitamins and eat what you can i m actually a pound lighter now than my pre pregnancy weight im one of the lucky ones baby is gaining but im loosing and i have a c section scheduled in 10 days i had an ultrasound last week and my little guy weighs 6lbs and 6oz so far

My doctor gave me a list of approved medicines, however it says to avoid during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Here are a few of the items on the list. Cough/Cold: Robitussin (cough), Sucrets and Vick's Throat Lozenges Its says do not take "SA' (Sustained action) forms of these drugs or the "Multi-symptom" forms of these drugs.

I had horrible heartburn with both of my babies and both had tons of long hair. This pregnancy I've had heartburn since I was 4 weeks that is what actually triggered me to take a test. It's always been true for me.

It does get harder the farther along you are, but just in terms of being uncomfortable. And heartburn, that got me not to long ago, but that's because the baby is running out of space and starting to push up on my diaphragm.

Heart burn, for me, has been my worst pregnancy symptom. With my first pregnancy I had heartburn for a whole week. It never let up... so I tested an got a bfp. I'm 29 weeks pregnant now an heart burn an swelling has been my only symptoms. I never had morning sickness or any thing like that. I nick named my baby, this pregnancy, BABY TUMS at about 7 weeks. I have tums by my bed, in my purse, an in my car. LOL. So needless to say it depends on the person.

With my first son, it was somewhat worse, but more towards the end of the pregnancy. My first son had some hair, but my second son was more hairy and I never had heartburn with him. Now I'm having a third son so who knows whats going on. Other than this heartburn, this pregnancy has been completely different than my other two. Its had a mind of its own. lol I give you credit for wanting the gender to be a surprise. I know I couldn't do it!

I'm 37+3.. I'm feeling pretty good. At the end of week 36 baby dropped and it's been harder to get around. Lots of pressure in my pelvic bone. Good luck!

Very first pregnancy and a little over 6weeks pregnant and have horrible heartburn. Its so intense at night i feela like I could throw up . Also have a little pain on my left side. Is all of this normal? Feedback would be great!!!

Usually doctors determine how far along you are by the first day of your last menstrual period, but there's not an exact due date until your first ultrasound. As for the alcohol, I have a friend who got very, very drunk before she found out she was pregnant and she now has a very healthy baby boy. Just got to lay off the drinks for a long time now. I have awful heartburn and acid reflux. I usually take some tums with a little bit of milk and make sure I sit up afterwards. I have severe nausea too and the heartburn always makes me get sick again. It's common in pregnancy... but I know how bad it *****!

Lemons are obviously Very acidic!! I ate loads during my first pregnancy, gave me really bad heartburn and thrush in my mouth from the acid killing good bacteria. If I was you I would try full fat milk, double cream or gaviscon although gaviscon is about £8 a bottle. I am suffering from very bad acid this time round and all 3 work very well for me. Its fine with my first pregnancy there wasn't enough tapatio in the world to satisfy my craving for spicy foods. I even ate jalapeños...and before that I was someone that couldn't eat hot cheetos because they would make me choke! That kid had me dipping hot cheetos in tapatio as a midnight snack lmao!

Just want to put this out there pregnant women can eat anything that they want.

if what you asking is "could this be due to pregnancy" it's unlikely. heartburn in pregnancy is due to a number of things one being the size pf the pregnant uterus pushing the stomach and causing reflux. Also higher levels of progesterone during pregnancy cause acid reflux to occur. I feel this is too early to be pregnancy related. good luck.

I started having symptoms before I even knew I was pregnant.. I took a test at 6 weeks & was instantly nauseous that NIGHT!!! lol but, 2 weeks before then was when I had the super, super, super sore boobs, nipples, and they itcheddddd so bad - so technically I was 4 weeks pregnant when my symptoms started. I'd say you MAY have gotten lucky & surpassed some of them, but I've seen where some mommies didn't get any symptoms until week 10, 11, etc.

when i get heartburn i drink a cold glass of milk. It helps to coat your stomach and prevents acid fom creeping up. Or you can try eating some bread.

I did not really get stretch marks my first pregnancy but I did have a little heartburn this time my stretch marks a real bad but I already had them from being fat did not really get stretch marks during my pregnancy this time I still don't have new ones just the old ones from me gaining a lot of weight and getting fat and then losing weight. but I have gotten heartburn a couple times not real bad though.

i've stopped taking the pills during x'mas of 2011, and my boyfriend came inside me 3-4 nights ago, and came again next morning. He came inside me 2 days after i've totally finished my period. yesterday, i feel extremely nauseated the whole day and feeling like wanting to puke so badly but i hold it inside. Today, I've been going to the bathroom a lot to pee every 10-15min or a few min or so. i can't seem to drink alcohol a lot more than before.
