Foot bones spreading

Common Questions and Answers about Foot bones spreading

foot

1558461 tn?1295392601 Yes, it can, and here's why: Pain in one joint causes a change in the way you stand and walk, even if it's something subtle you don't notice or are conscious of. This causes increased stress on the next joint up the line, then the next, etc. etc. What seems to be arthritis "spreading" could simply be the muscles and ligaments of those stressed joints yelling in protest. Or causing other bones to rub together differently and thus cause joint inflammation.
Avatar f tn My fourth toe on my right foot is red and it hurts. The side of the toe split open as well. The top of the foot has a red line zigzagging to that toe. What is it?
Avatar f tn Mine do that! Even if I move my foot my hips crack and pop. It's normal. Mine started doing it at 22 weeks.
Avatar f tn The only objective way to see if your mother has some other sites of metastases is to have these other body parts examined by some imaging procedure. Breast cancer has a predilection for spreading to the other breast, the lungs, liver, bones and brain. Metastases to the opposite breast can be determined by physical examination or by mammography. Liver metastases can be checked by means of a liver ultrasound or CT scan. Brain metastases can likewise be detected by CT scan.
Avatar n tn This pain started roughly 3-4 years ago, initially as a pain in the center of each palm and and then in the center of each foot, gradually spreading to all parts of the each hand/foot as well as each arm/leg. The pain is not limited to joints; it feels like it is in the muscles as well as the bones; very achey/crampy in nature. I am not sensitive to any actions, positions, or touch.
Avatar n tn A few days later (I was keeping it clean with peroxide) I noticed more small itchy blisters forming on my dry foot. I didnt think it could be athletes foot since my foot does not sweat... but I do use communial matts at yoga. I figured if it was a fungus it would be on my other foot. A few more days my foot is not getting better and tiny bumps on my palms and fingers of hands showing up. They itch as well. (like little itchy water blisters...
Avatar f tn It sounds like you may have either had a serious sprain or broken some of those tiny bones that are in the foot. You definitely should see your doctor and he will probably order an X-ray. That sounds painful. I twisted mine before by missing a step, and the hospital put on a cast and this relieved the pressure on my foot and made it feel a lot better. Mine was just a sprain.
Avatar m tn If it is like a boil or a raised bump, especially if it has pus in it, then it could be bacterial. Do you have neosporin or another antibiotic topical ointment or cream? Put some of that on and see if it gets better. It could be a fungus but they don't get bigger as in round, but they spread around. If it is very itcy and flat and is spreading but not a boil and not raised or a bump, rather it is just flat and spreading, and it makes your foot peel it probably is athelete's foot.
Avatar f tn What are the chances of the cancer turning up somewhere else since we dont know how long it has been haning out in my lyphnatic system? It seems uncommon for it to spread to lungs, liver or bones but can it happen? planning on doing the radioactive iodine treatment 5-6 wks after surgery. How will this make me feel? Very scared and tired and the battle has not even began. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Avatar f tn And all day ive been having pains when I walk , its feels like its getting worse but its like my bones are spreading well that is what my mom says , but the pain is worser on my right side ,like especially when I pick up my right leg to walk any suggestions?
Avatar f tn Putting any weight on an operated foot or ankle can do damage to the repair that’s been done. Bones need time to heal. Plates or screws that may have been added during surgery need the bones to heal around them. Adding weight too soon can interrupt this important internal healing process.

17507144 tn?1457325060 I've had what my Dr. Called a plantars wart on the bottom of my foot for well over a year now. We've tried different things along the way, it was a bother but it really didnt affect me all that much. But it has grown into a rather large ball protruding out of the bottom of my heel. So heres the thing, One day it starts draining a little pus.

Avatar f tn MY VAG IS KILLING ME MY MOTHER SAY ITS MY PELVIC BONE SPREADING OMG THIS IS PAINFUL. ANYONE ELSE FEEL THIS PAIN?
Avatar f tn It feels like a bone is actually out of place or something and the support of my foot bones is missing. If I have actually put weight on the foot it will drop me. The pain is excruciating. I wiggle the foot around a little (ouch!) and then something clicks very lightly and the pain disappears almost instantly. I suspect it's something as minor as a tendon that has slipped out of its groove, but boy it hurts! I have had that thing happen for many years, long before the MS.
Avatar m tn Where the talus meets the bones of the foot, it forms the subtalar joint, which is important for walking on uneven ground. The talus is an important connector between the foot and the leg and body, helping to transfer weight and pressure forces across the ankle joint.
