I think it's because it can affect the absorption of the meds.
I just traded Zithromax for Doxy as I was having some pretty serious issues on Zithromax. If it hadn't been for the serious FDA warnings and many similar reviews, I may have continued the medication but I'm not really sure as it got pretty rough. (I always take my abx at different times so if I do have some sort of reaction, I have a good idea which medication is the culprit.) Anyhow, I just can't help but wonder if it was actually a herx.

5 mg of Coumadin per day to maintain an INR of between 2.5 and 3.5. I had to be hospitalized twice in the first 6 months post surgery. Once for a Basal Ganglion Infarction, from which I recovered completely and once simply to be placed on Heparin due to a low INR. I have been ok since then. I would like to get rid of this valve. Are there any other options availible to me? Have there been any advances in cloned valves? As a young, active person I am not sure an animal valve is the answer.

This forum has provided a post of drug interactions and the problem with coumadin is that it reacts with hundreds of drugs and some of them increase its effects and some decrease it effects. It is worth looking at the older posts to get that information and understand it. You job as patient is to monitor your INR or protime levels. If they are too low, it could cause a clot. If they are too high you could have bleeding.

I don't know the exact mg, but just look it up. Something that recently happend to me was an abnormal result on a pap smear. Does anyone know if this can be from GSB? This is soemthing new, so I haven't had a chance to ask my gyno yet. Hope this helps.
Unfortunately, that did not last. I started having the same signs again, and when I tested it was positive again. And ever since I can't get it to be negative again, meaning the candida if that is what I have has become resistant to the supplements that I was using. As I started a new treatment, I will take the test this week-end to see if there is any progress.
