cymbalta for pms

I’m just afraid with all those weight gain, and any possible side effects due to drug interactions, I’m taking hidrocortisone for AI, and nothing for PMS right now. I used to take Bcomplex, and EPO for PMS (just in case you over looked my post above). After discussing it here about stress dosing for PMS…I guess I have to put it to kiv. So I stopped prozac one day and began Cymbalta the next (30mg for the first week and then 60 mg for the past 31/2 wks. I do have less anxiety now with the Cymbalta but I also have lost that jovial attitude that I was begininning to enjoy with the prozac.

s is on an anti-depressant called cymbalta, which she takes daily. How would you suggest I help her get some kind of help for this or what could you suggest I do? We pretty much get to the point of divorce at this time each month. We could use some help before our family falls apart completely.

Could anyone tell me if they have gotten Duvanta-30 as a generic for cymbalta? Due to the money crunch we have had to look to the canadian drug companys for my husbands meds that he takes, and when I ordered the cymbalta that is what they sent, and when I questioned it they said it was the same... Duloxetine Cymbalta®, Pregabalin Lyrica®, Amitriptyline, Lisinopril HCTZ, OxyContin, Percocet, Oxycodone, Neurontin®, Opana®, Lidoderm® patch, Hydromorphone, Soma, Flexeril...you name it, I have been compliant and done what has been asked of me in every regard. OxyContin and Oxycodone in combination Zanax XR, Cymbalta®, Soma, Lyrica®, Lisinopril HCTZ, Lidoderm® patch has been the best combination to control my pain. In late 2011, my pain became much more intense.

Cymbalta actually worked for me after I had a major back surgery...i had alot of nerve damage in my sciatic and the cymbalta helped me while they were doing procedures to ease the nerve pain such as epidurals and rfas...however getting off of it was not the easiest thing I ever had to do...my dr lowered the dose and got me off of it safely but I was still going through some moderate withdrawals like shaking and nausea but they only lasted a few weeks and I was fine afterward...

I noticed that not only the Cymbalta but the Effexor I am on now is more likely the reason for my ugly weight gain. plus! because of the weight gain I hate myself. I'm disgusted w myself. I can't even look @ myself. none of my clothes fit me. I don't want to go anywhere or see anyone. etc. etc. blah blah blah & so on. SO! I'm on my 4th day w no Effexor & only 4 Tramadol a day. I'm going thru hell but trying my hardest to stay off of it. I will!!

I take cymbalta for the pain in my hips. I find it works relatively well.

I use Cymbalta for abdomen, neck and hand pain and Fibromyalgia. It does a good job for me. There are some unpleasant side effects such as nausea and being light headed upon standing being the worst for me. I tried Neurontin and Lyrica. I couldn't take the side effects from either of those two. I've experienced life without Cymbalta. Without it my pains levels are considerably higher. My mood is much better on it.

Has anyone been perscribed Paroxetine for their neuropothy symptoms? I saw my physiatrist last week for the increasing pain I am having related to my syrinx. He advised me to check back in with my NS, and gave me a script for Cymbalta. Apparently, this anti-depressant also works on nerves. I'm definitely not a depressed person - so I had my reservations for Cymbalta, but the pharmacist re-assured me that my dr prescribed it for neuro issues.

I started Cymbalta 8 to 8 days ago for MDD and Gad with obsessive thoughts. And now tapering Effexor gradually. I didn't see improvement till now and feel very depressed and feel like my head is going to explode cz of the thoughts and the continuously feeling down with no interest or motivation to do anything in life. Do I need to wait for Cymbalta more or shall I consult my doctor to change it? And is it effective with treatment resistant cases as iam a treatment resistant case?

He met with me and was pretty thorough and reduced my medications from 150 of Levothyoxine to 25 mg. He also suggested I increaes my Cymbalta. I called my doctor today and the nurse told me the reason for the 150 mg was that my family doctor wanted to help me with extra weight loss and thought this might do the trick. I asked about Cymbalta as I am taking 60 mg and he increased it to 120 mg, sort of nervous about this as it is designed at high doses for people with pain. That isn't me.

I ended up having a hysterectomy 3 months ago. Had anyone taken cymbalta for lower back pain? All I have is Flexerrel (muscle relaxers) but that doesn't work every time.

I was on Cymbalta for about 6 years. Last year my Pdoc doubled the dose for awhile. Then for 8 months we tried med changes. 10 different medicines. At the end he kept me on the 4 pill drug cocktail I had originally had before the episode. I am helped greatly by talk therapy. So I'm concentrating on that for now. What about you?

Prozac tends to be better for depression than for anxiety, but then, so is Cymbalta, since both are also stimulating (Cymbalta much more so). On the other hand, if Prozac works, it's probably the least troublesome of all these meds. Cymbalta is liver toxic for many and one of the hardest to get off of, while Prozac is one of the easiest to come off of since it stays in the body for a lot longer time and therefore the withdrawal is, for most people, slower and easier.

SHe told me to keep taking Paxil for just a week which she perscribed me cymbalta for 30 mg for a week with the paxil then she has me on 60 mg of Cymbalta and she told me to stop taking Paxil when i start taking 60mg. So is she weaning me off the Paxil along with the Cymbalta? And is this safe for a week of taking cymbalta 30mg and Paxil 20mg for a week?

I have been having lower back pain for a few days now,,and its been vary heard to sleep trying to get comfertable ,,I been taking cymbalta for about 5 days, and i was woundering if anyone new what i could take for the pain

My mom thinks that my heart palpitations are due to cymbalta (which I am taking for anxiety), which I just started taking a few days ago. Before that, I took lexapro for over two years. I've only been on cymbalta for 10 days and I skipped yesterday because my mom insists that's what's causing my chest pains and heart palpitations. I cried myself to sleep last night and I can't stop crying right now but I have no reason to at all.

I have been on cymbalta for 2 years now and since being on it I only have mild panic attacks. I am also on it for anxiety and panic.

Things fell apart when I was feeling depressed, and the my medication level was raised. I was on cymbalta 60mg a day, and was moved to cymbalta 90mg a day. I believe that caused a huge increase in suicidal thoughts, and I began to abuse oxycontin, whenever I could afford it. It was the only the thing at the time that allowed me to escape the thoughts of suicide. I finally admit my abuse of oxycontin, nobody in my family had suspected I was using such a hard drug.
