I was sick last week and notice a few little blisters on my tongue, then I threw up a few times from being sick and the next there were several more larger ones on the back of my tongue. They don't hurt but they aren't going away...the doctor put me on amoxacillin and they are still there...should I go back to the doctor or will they go away eventually? I'm just worried it could be from something else. But the doctor said it looked like a strep infection...???? Any info would be great.
This morning, however, I woke up and i could still feel it and I tried to just scrape it with my toothbrush but it was still there so I got a flash light and saw that I have mulitple bumps all over my tongue and on my throat. I'm just wondering how I could have gotten this? I'm pretty sure i've never had it before.
Help if you can, For the last month I have had this salty taste in my mouth, a sore tongue that feels acidic and blisters on the way back part of my throat, that don't hurt. I have a lot of fatigue, my whole body tingles and burns, I feel like I have a fever sometimes, but when I take my temp, its low 96F. Hi all, back at the beginning of April this year I had a sore throat, I looked and saw I had a few ulcers/blisters in the back of my throat, I have never had these before, and they weren't there previous to that, I had just come off Omeprazole which I had been taking for acid reflux, and had been on them for 9 weeks.I had also just come off Yasmin contraceptive pill that i had been taking for around 8 years.
For the very first symptoms I ever got before the extreme drying out became unbearable, was a very sore mouth and throat, tightness and burning, tingling too. Then it moved to my eyes, and then everywhere else. Sjogren's is another autoimmune disease and could be a possiblility for you. It is very hard to detect in the early stages however, it has taken 2 years for me to get diagnosed as it creeps in on you slowly. But it might be worth you mentionning it to your doc. Hope this helps.
I have pain under my tongue where it's connected (started recently), pain/tightness - what feels like a super tight muscle knot/ball - at the back base of my jaw right below the ear, ear tube pain, ringing in my ears, more so on the right side, which also hurts more. Have a small (unmovable) lump on right side in mouth almost directly under bottom molars. Hasn't changed in size in the year since I noticed it, but a lot of the pain in my ears/throat is right around there.
So right now, I have dry tongue (not mouth), dry throat, mild sore throat and tingling in my fingers. Could these be signs of HIV? Can it take this late to seroconvert? I never had fever, diarrhea, rash and swollen lymph nodes. I am not as anxious as before and I think it couldn't be anxiety this time. Do I need to get tested again for HIV? I apologize for the lengthy text but I just want to give you a complete picture. Thanks.
The loose stool seized and introduced nausea and bloating (no puking). I ran out of immodium and decided to use rolaids to calm my upset stomach since I couldnt get to the doctor over the weekend. Shortly after, I had burning in my stomach along with the upset stomach (very unbearable). My doctor prescribed Nexium. My question...this is my third day on Nexium and I still feel a little bloated with nausea periodically not as bad(I have also been under stress lately).
blisters on the tonsils and part of the tongue can be strep throat infection. The dr can do a simple swab with a q-tip to check for it. best wishes.
I stopped taking doxycycline (anti-malerial) tablet a week ago and since then my rash seemed to have calmed down. 4 days ago the rash appeared to return, small pin prick red spots appeared. I went to the doctor/hospital here in thailand and she prescribed me actnovate cream (for photosensitivty) and also xyzal antihestime's. The cream has worked well on my rash but after taking xyzal I felt dizzy and had a tight throat so i stopped taking it.

Viral infections - the most common one that causes mouth sores, drooling, and foul breath is a serious infection called calici. This can cause ulcers on the gums, tongue, lips, roof of the mouth, throat, and lungs. This is one of the two most dangerous viral upper respiratory infections. It commonly leads to bacterial infections that require antibiotics to cure. Pneumonia is also a somewhat common complication. Most cats will stop eating when suffering this infection due to mouth pain.
Hi, I performed an unprotected cunnilingus on an escort girl 3 weeks ago (protected fellatio and protected intercourse) My tongue hurt a few hours later, then had a sore throat and ended with geographic tongue now (two painless round spots on my tongue, they were gone 2 days ago and I have a new one today) Can this be an STD (HIV/Syphilis)? I softly brushed my teeth 3 hours before the incounter and only drunk water. 3 days after the incounter, my spit smelled like vagina.

Another thing that can be quite effective is spritzing the tongue with Chloraseptic throat spray, which numbs the tissue and takes away the burning sensation. I have used all these remedies, and for me the "Magic Mouthwash" worked best.<<< They say they dont know what causes them but i do know these treatments make them come out really bad....drives me nuts cause i cant seem to keep my teeth off them and it makes them worse lol.

My oldest son poped his and they quickly went away but my 9yr old says they are too sore to pop and he has them the worse. His hands are covered, he has a few on his toes and even starting with some under his tongue. He has missed 2 days of school because i can't send him with a strange rash all over him....
Had severe facial pain (left upper jaw and cheek) at same time as shingles, but the blisters were on my bra line. After being paranoid about having hsv2 after a stupid, unprotected one night stand with a man of an unknown status, I tested negative at 4 months and was treated with antibiotics for a bacterial infection. A few weeks after being on the antibiotics, I got a really foul taste in my mouth and noticed my tongue is coated in white that won't scrape off, with red spots (not sores). There's no pain, just like a weird feeling on my tongue.
My skin does itch and get dry!
A few days later, ulcers spread across my tongue, back of my throat and I've had chapped lips for about 2/3weeks - (no signs of cold sores as such, although the corners of my lips/mouth are the sorest. In this time of having chapped lips, I have to admit that my alcohol intake has increased but also I have been drink FAR MORE water to try and hydrate them. I have also been exposed to much more sun.
