After that i have tested For HIV(PCR test),Syphills,Heptaties B,and HSV-2 and all are negative and i also taken injection for Gonorrhea,so that if it is in my body then it will remove.
I also tested for CULTURE REPORT (Culture & Sensitvity Of Throat swab) .And the result is "No pathogens grown after 36 hours of aerobic incubation.". My Gen.
I have had bumps way back towards the end of the tongue, for over a month now. I am not sure how long before the first time I noticed them they have been there, maybe it was only a month or so when I felt them. There are three small clustered together on one side and only one on the other side of the tongue. They are of same color as the tongue (pale pink), don't hurt at all and only at time (maybe once a week) may feel as there is something on the tongue.
Symptoms - depending on the muscle and the location of the trigger points - are a painful burning tongue (glossodynia), dry mouth, sores on the tongue, difficulty talking, a sore throat with no inflammation, pain on swallowing and the feeling that there is a something/lump stuck in the throat, and pain in the lower back teeth. Your voice may be hoarse.
All these muscles function to open your mouth.
I have a bony protrusion which I can feel at back of my tongue. I can follow it to my Cervical Spine. I have a very sore throat. This protrusion feels like it is stuck in my jaw. Will this show up on MRI ?
s too far back, but it feels like a hard, very thin, slightly irregular disc shape, attached to the skin by the thin edge like a flap, about 5mm or so in diameter. I can flap it up and down with my tongue, and the flat surface feels completely smooth. To be clear: it's not a disc shape flat against the wall of my mouth, it's like a disc sticking out into my mouth, like gluing a penny to a wall by the thin edge.
About 3 days ago, I found a canker sore on my lip. Yesterday bumps appeared on the back of my tongue. They do not hurt, but are quite annoying. All i want to do is swallow them. I heard that the bumps on the back of the tongue are a part of normally anatomy, but i can't help but think that they are inflamed or infected. Is there anything I can do at home? If they don't go down in a couple of days, I plan on seeing a dentist.

papillae are normal anatomy. go to the bookstore and pick up an anatomy book and look at the back of the tongue where you feel the "nodules". ON the back of the tongue there are circumvallate papillae. They can become inflamed from a variety of reasons. If the soreness persists, see a dentist or better yet an oral surgeon.
Hi...I really appreciate all the work that you do on this forum as it's very helpful. I've now had a sore throat for 3 months post my possible exposure. I also have ongoing stomach pains in my gut (cramping) and red bumps that don't go away on my stomach. I started the sore throat about 2 weeks after exposure and it has not gone away and the stomach issues have kept coming. I've had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy and blood work, all ok...no issues.
I have throat and tongue irritation whenever I smoke even a few cigarettes e.g. even 1-2 cigarettes for 4-5 days leads to the irritation which takes about 3-4 days to heal. It starts again even if I smoke one cigarette a few days later. But after 2-3 weeks it heals completely and I can smoke 1-2 cigarettes once in a while e.g. every other week or so. But after sometime I enter the same cycle again.

I have a question about a bump I discovered recently in my mouth while prodding around with my tongue. I've googled to no end but nothing seems to fit. It may be normal anatomy, but I just noticed it and have convinced myself I would have noticed it before now if it were, since I feel around that area of my mouth pretty often as a kind of nervous habit.
Here are some characteristics:

- Bump is located about 1-1.
My tongue also didnt get better . After closely to 2 weeks my white tongue increased .I have sore throat from day 15 to till date.After three weeks i went to STD SPECIALIST . I also developed some small bumps under tongue which doesnt hurt . I was tested for syphillis(RPR) and HIV . I was tested negative on third week .My doctor says white tongue is normal and prescribed doxy and metrogyl. But white layer arised on my tongue only after the oral sex .I also have weight loss .

It is very difficult to say anything without examination,but from your description,it looks like you are mentioning about the ducts of the salivary glands which open under the tongue. The sublingual and submaxillary (also called the submandibular) glands empty into the mouth through ducts under the tongue. The two largest ducts are in the center just in front of the attachment of the lingual frenum and are called Wharton's Ducts.

I have been diagnosed with asthma from birth, at this point I'm 22 years old. About 2 years ago I noticed I couldn't breathe at all any more through my nose. I went to my Ear nose & throat doctor and he diagnosed me with nasal polyps. Now I also noticed a spot at the back end of my tongue which was pressing a little bit against my palatum mollum.
For the last month or so, off and on, I have suffered from horrible dryness of my mouth, tongue and throat, which causes my throat to feel somewhat swollen. I am taking the following medications: Allegra, Prilosec and Flovent (one puff a day.) I have not taken the Allegra for two days to see if this would help the dryness, but it has not. I do have an infection under a tooth where I had a root canal a few years ago.

bipolar, lamictal 150mg 1xday, tegretol 200mg 2xday (400mg total). Ever since i started the tegretol, things are great, but there is this weird side effect in the back of my mouth enveloping my entire throat, tongue, etc. Nothing I can't deal with, nothing food and/or a valium/ativan as instructed can't solve, but it leads to grinding and other annoyances.
Has anyone else even remotely heard of anything closely resembling this?
t know what to do I have a constant lump in my throat but worse is the heaviness/ dry feeling I have on the back of my tongue. my tongue feels weird and I can't explain other than it feels dry and heavy but only in the back toward my throat. and the feeling in my throat is like air is pushing it. I feel like my doctor is blowing me off, he put me on ibs medication, antibiotics and had to beg for thyroid and he just told me it was normal.
I have no visible warts on my penis, however, I have been having this soar feelings in my throat for over a week, as well as fatigue and a slight headache. Today, I took a look in the mirror and saw white warts all over the back of my tongue. Not a pretty site. I am now a bit concerned because I read these may be the signs of a very rare oral concer caused by HPV. I even read somewhere that doctors may end up cutting my tongue out....
m a male and i had unprotected sex including oral with a lady 5 days ago. After the first day I developed a soar throat and after 2 days my tongue has developed a white coating and is swollen. Today on day 5 I have noticed a small soar on the inside of my upper lip. I'm now starting to think that I must have contracted an STD and was wondering if these sypmtoms are common with either gonorrhea, herpes or other!
First of all, sorry if I'll be to detailed, but here's a bit of my story.
6 months ago - I had one night stand with the girl, in that time, I shouldn't be with her, I didn't knew her well, and until now - I was stressed about it, started feeling anxious about my health and about that night.
Anyway, I checked myself for every common STD - from HIV and Hepatitis to Chlamydia and Gonorrhea (urethral smear) = everything negative, outside of window period thanks to God.
So on macrh 25 i pulled my self together and decided to get tested again,i took a rapid blood test,and THANK GOD it came out negative for hiv, since i mess around with oh girl its been 147 days,but my tongue is still on top and on the side i get these lil patches on the side of my tongue but i kan scrape them off ,rash by my tonsils,lil red lesions under my tongue, and one on the side of my tongue,and my throat get alil sore when i brethe in cold air and yea i for got to mentioned i had red b
