Hi, the drugs you have mentioned are Histamine H1 Antagonist, belonging to Second Generation. These are newer anti histaminics which are devoid of sedation. That is the main advantage over the first generation anti histamines.
Both are mainly used in treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis and treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria. Headache and drowsiness are side effects seen with loratidine. Whereas headache and vomiting with fexofenadine.
Hello all. I have had hives all over my body in as many as 15 different locations at the same time. I've tried singular, zyrtec, Claritin, benadryl, oatmeal baths and nothing helps in the least. In the last day I've also experienced headache and nausea. No new foods, drinks or environmental changes.
Please note I also have multiple diseases such as Lupus, Posteral orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, gastroparisis, etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

The headache could be a tension headache since you have been under lot of stress.But it is always better to rule out if a medical condition is the cause .Please do not panic . Please get a CT scan and MRI done to know if everything is OK. If you feel it is severe you can go early or you may wait for 2 weeks . Taking some OTC muscle relaxant tablet for headache might help . I am almost ten weeks and sick. I have a headache sinus drainage and a really bad cough. What is safe to take?
I'm 21 wks and I'm nauseous with a bad headache and I'm sneezing like crazy. Is this normal or should I be worried? Please. Help!?!?!
Last night I had such a terrible headache I could not sleep. Also there seemed to be a constant auditory humming. This is the fourth headache since Thursday of last week. I ended up taking two Maxalt and some hydromorphone to finally sleep. Should I be considering other options then continued medication in regard to the AVA and cavernous hemangioma. I am at a loss and very frustrated.
If it is more in your cheeks and forehead (around your sinuses) you may want to try taking zyrtec. Being pregnant makes us a million times more (an exaggeration I know) susceptible to allergies.
I have even woke up in the middle of the night with a pounding headache. I am almost 15 weeks along. Any one else experience this or have any suggestions?

It depends on how far she is I believe on what she can take I do know for headache she can take 325mg of Tylenol regular strength I think she can take sudafed but if you go to any pharmacy since the dr's office is closed and talk to a pharmacist make sure they know how far along your wife is AND any meds she may be taking over the counter or prescription and they can tell you what she can and can not take Hpe she fells better
s field of vision becam wavy, first starting in the periphery and then the whole field. It did not accompany a headache or loss of vision. It cleared eventually and has been fine for last few hours. I take concerta 54mg, zyrtec and vitamins everyday. Who should I see? I have also been having sinus pressure and tooth pain (thought from pollen) over last few weeks- not sure if it's related. It was very scary and I want to see the appropriate md asap. Thanks!
I have been sick all week and had a Dr apt today and doc said I can take psuedofed and benedryl just make sure its original. I also take zyrtec.

Then in October, I felt one coming on, so I bought Sudafed immediately, hoping to ward it off (I also take Zyrtec-D for allergies). No luck. It struck, so I went to the Dr and was put on 10 days of Augmenten. Seemed to offer some relief, however 2 weeks later it was back even worse, so I went back to the Dr. They put me on Augmenten for 14 days. Same results...so I felt good for about a week. New Years Eve it struck back harder...
