Thank God I had someone in my corner telling me otherwise.I considered my disease of addiction to be a Moral issue, I'm glad I stuck around long enough to dispell some of my mis guided beliefs about myself and the Disease. t think much of it when my lips swelled up and got rock hard. I figured it was because i was using zoloft and meth at the same time. About a year later i was put on effexor XR, and remained taking it for about 18 months. The same lip swelling happened, but never got rock hard like before. i figured it was just extremely chapped lips. they would swell up often, at least a couple times a month and would remain swollen for a week at the most.

Quick summary. I was on 10mg/day of Lexapro for what I believe to be GAD which came on after I quit an oxy addiction last January. I was on that for Lexapro 2 weeks and by the 12 day or so It was actually increasing my anxiety A LOT. My doctor switched me to 50mg of zoloft daily. I understand that this is a low dose for zoloft. Well it's now day 5 and I'm slipping into depression. Constantly tired. I got out of bed to write this. Loss of apetite etc..

Hi Hector, thanks for the interesting comments. :) I don't know much about Florida and don't care much about where they come from if they can play decent music. I did see some pictures on their site but of course that's a promotional thing and made to look however THEY want their image to appear so really wanted to hear from someone who's been at their show.

I recall last week going to town and getting out of the car and the weather was sooooooooooo nice and was thinking it feels so good to NOT be a fog and to be alive to enjoy the nice weather. The funny thing is my wife is english (very english) so we get the Ozzy and Sharon thing alot. Im a musician and work in the industry (The best place to get a monkey on your back) I have been feeding my little monkey for many years.....I have decided that he has to go.. Anyhow, I had NO ringing in the ears from Zoloft. None. About the main side-effect I had on Zoloft was fatique, lack of libido, constipation, lethargy, more fatique...you get the picture. Zoloft helped me with my panic attacks ,which many yrs ago I did suffer. Zoloft also helped me with my clinical depressions. That's why my Doc prescribed "Z" for me.

today I am 270 DAYS CLEAN!!!!!YAAAAAAYYYY Never thought I would beat the demon Heroin but I am comin up on 9 mos and so grateful and also now 6mos pregnant!!!I I thank God every day for the wonderful change in my life and additude and blessings I am given on a daily basis!!! for every one that may just have a day...well that's where we all started!1 You can't get 5 days w/o getting 4 first!! ) I had a complete blood count done 2 months post exposure and results were normal. I had an antibody test done 4 months post exposure and the result was negative ( 0.19 with a s/co of 1.00 ). I imagine the dose you take makes a difference (i.e. the higher the dose the higher the risk, just as the more alcohol you take the higher the risk). Is the standard dose 50mg in the US? I imagine it's the short term side effects you should be more worried about than the long term. Are there any long term side effects listed on the PIL?

Like the "deep cut" stuff. I like the "deep cuts" station and Vault on satellite radio. The while I listened to the "Radio", it was mostly heavy metal / headbanger stuff, which is OK, but I like the older hippie rock 'n roll a little better. I give it another tune-in to check it out again. I know, but I like it!

( please keep in mind that he is the only child in the household and in the family) At most times he doesnt listen to what is beong told to him, does things according to his time even though being told time and time again to do things or there will be consequences. He pushes everything to its limits. For some reason "time out" is the destroyer in his world. And fortunatley it works, but it doesnt last long.
