Went to the doctor in march for symptoms of anxiety, tremors, small weight loss, heart palp. Doctor perscribed zoloft and did a TSH test. TSH came back at 0.05. He said to retest in 3 months. went back in june TSH was 0.02. He then tested T3 and T4. He said they were normal. He said to come back in 4 weeks to have my only my TSH tested again. In the mean time I have not taken the zoloft, stiil having hyper symptoms. Can anyone guess why he is testing only my TSH again.
About a month ago, I completed weeing off of Zoloft. It had been five years. Now I am aggitated, annoyed, snappy, and unconcered with home life, specifically my over 40 pregnant wife. Its our seventh in the house and ninth total.

I am feeling dizzy, I'm sweating like crazy lying down in a cold room, and I've thrown up a few times since I took the increased dosages earlier today. Occasionally it feels like my heart has butterfly wings too. Am I just having panic attacks? I heard the dex can increase anxiety... I don't have insurance here...
Is there any evidence of Zoloft changing people into emotionally blank non caring (except for themselves) people who mentioned the oncoming death of a parent with no emotion. Does it make them stop caring for close family, blame partners for everything wrong in their lives and lie and ignore everything they find unpleasant. This is the change in my partner who has been taking the drug for a year. He used to be a very caring person who didnt like to upset anyone.

Thanks for the great feedback. I couldn't agree more with your opinions on Psychiatrists and there methods. I've only been seeing one now for about four months and you described him perfectly. I'm and engineer by training and could do a better job. When I first went, I mistakenly throught that he would want to hear my symptoms.

I am on Wellbutrin XL, Ablify and Zoloft. I am still not doing better. Do you think they would put me on another Antidepressant also?
Is anyone else feeling overwhelmed. I'm 8w + 5d and I'm 33 years old. I have a 14 yr old step daughter, my 13 yr old daughter, a 2 1/2 yr old girl that we just adopted and this one on the way. I was on Zoloft for a long time but when I found out I was pregnant I quit taking them. It's hard trying to handle my stress and anxiety. These hormones are no joke! I'm irritable a lot and cry easily. I'm not going to try to be on any meds while pregnant.
I take 100mg of zoloft and .50mg of clonazepam for my panic attacks. When I first started having them, all my doctor prescribed was clonazepam. But I went back to him a couple of months later because that wasn't working by itself. He started me on 25mg of zoloft (sertraline) and I've worked up to 100mg. That seems to have done the trick. You should ask your doctor about trying zoloft w/ clonazepam.
Hi all, my husband started addicting very odd a year ago after taking the antidepressant Zoloft. All of a sudden from the kind and loving men he turned verbally abusive. He almost stopped sleeping at night and he nearly died from alkohol intoxication. No reasoning with him helped as he thought I was making funof him for some reason, his pupils were quite dialated. He divorced me, so "we can have a better relationship" even though I tryedtto convince him not to...
I also find it hard to keep a conversation with people, whenever i hang out with girls or others i am usually just there being quiet, i really want to be happy and joke and talk with everyone else but it seems so hard. it feels like i have a major lack in personality and just dont care about anything and i dont have any intrests hobbies or anything to hold dear to me.
ve been on Zoloft, it completely diminished my sex drive while I took it over the course of a few years. Well, time flies by when you're sitting inside. I haven't grown in height and here's the zinger (penis size :S) since I was about 13 (could Zoloft have prevented growth?
I tried to migitate the effects of this on my personnel life through going to a doctor who perscribed for me zoloft and anothe medication. It helped for a while but I believe know I am having the symptoms of anxiety and stress back with depression.
I tried to communicate with my family but the feedback isnt really helping, I guess I have to figure ways to help myself alone....but kind of feeling lost.
I have a job and trying to stayed focused and it really is becoming harder every day.
