Avatar m tn Doctor prescribed me Zoloft (well the generic) and I started taking it yesterday. 50 mgs for the first week then if all is well 100 mgs. Today my pupils have been huge all day. Was also a little jittery and felt weird. Anyone else on Zoloft? What about the pupils? This is my first time taking an SSRI.
Avatar f tn Hey there, I'm new to this whole forum thing and I just started Zoloft 2 days ago. I have severe panic disorder and that includes fear of medication. Having side effect like jitteriness and dizzy spells. How long will this last? Is it normal to have more anxiety on the medication? Anybody else feel like there heads stuck in a cloud starting Zoloft?
Avatar f tn I have been taking Zoloft for the past 8 yrs. 100 mil. I'm 71 yrs old. I would like to stop. I have gained weight, have sweats, & just feel like it is time to stop. I have asked my Dr. several times if I could stop & he said that they are not addictive & I should stay on them. Last week I asked him again & his reply was the same as usual. After a long chat with him he finally agreed for me to stop. BUT when I asked him how to taper off he said that I could just stop.
Avatar f tn So I've been on Zoloft about a year and a half now and about a month ago started experiencing break thru panic attacks. To be honest I am extremely sensitive to meds and have been on 25mgs Of Zoloft this whole time. I am increasing my dose to 50mgs and amTerrified. One of my fears is taking medication in general and it took me coming to this site to even be able To start Zoloft at all! Can anyone help me please? Will it take as long as it did last time to start kicking In?
1123420 tn?1350561158 I have battled depression and anxiety for years. I've been in xanax and Zoloft. But I stopped when I got pregnant. I'm 22 weeks now and I cant do it anymore. I know this is far worse for my daughter then the pills could be. My doctor gave me my Zoloft back and told me it was safe. Is it? Anyone know first hand? Please help me, I can't go on like this. There right here in front of me but I'm worried for my daughter.
Avatar f tn Dr. Forster, I asked my regular doctor about klonopin because I had heard it was long acting and thought maybe it would help me start the zoloft and stay on zoloft. She said she hadn't heard much about it and that she would look into it and get back to us the next day. She got back to us and said that she thought that we should try the klonopin and prescribe dissolvable .25mg wafers to take twice a day.
Avatar n tn Anxiety, low calcium levels, drinking caffeine and alcohol all can lead to shakiness and jitteriness. Palpitations or fluttering in chest can be due to digestive problems. Hypoglycemia can cause tremors and jittery feeling. Take good sleep and stay away from stress. Your doctor can test you further for health conditions that may cause your symptoms. Take care and regards!
Avatar m tn I AM DECREASING MY ESTROGEN REPLACEMENT MEDICATION ON A GRADUAL BASIS PER MY DRS ORDERS. AFTER ABOUT 2 MONTHS I SUDDENLY REALIZED THAT MY INCREASED IN JITTERINESS, SWEATING, HUNGER AND FEELING HOT MIGHT BE RELATED TO MY THRYROID MEDICATION WHICH I HAVE BEEN TAKING FOR YEARS RE TO HOSHIMOTOS AND NODULES. AND JUST HAD ALL WITHIN NORMAL RESULTS FROM MY YEARLY THYROID TESTS IN SEPT. WHAT ARE THOUGHTS ON THIS?
Avatar n tn These can include feelings of restlessness or jitteriness, high blood pressure, or abnormal muscle movements.
Avatar f tn ve been on it for almost 2 months now and I had lots of weird side effects at first (insomnia, nausea, jitteriness, fatigue, and others) but most all of that has faded away and I've found the drugs to be pretty helpful. I certainly have not had any panic attacks. The anxiety has been lessened and/or easier to deal with for me.
Avatar f tn About a year ago, I had extreme jitteriness, dizziness, numbness in my legs, falling down. I realized over time that this was in part caused by Prevacid, a drug which causes your magnesium level to be depleted. This can lead to some of the symptoms I was having. I was under extreme stress as well. Every aspect of your life can play into the development of any unexplained illness. I went to 3 different doctors, including an inner ear doctor, who said everything seemed to be fine.

1183618 tn?1277365106 Two weeks ago, I noticed heavy legs/feet and knee-buckling feeling with jitteriness. Still taking the Levothyroxine 88mcg. Monday Oct 14, I fell down while walking and almost did a 2nd time. Called my doc office and they said to come in the next day for blood work. I felt dizzy and light-headed. Then I panicked (hx of panic attacks years ago.) That made things way worse. Almost passed out. Called 911.
Avatar n tn Restlessness, hypertonia, jitteriness, irritability and poor feeding occurred in a neonate after maternal use of venlafaxine for depression during pregnancy. The diagnosis was confirmed by a temporary improvement after administration of a low dose (1 mg) of venlafaxine to the boy. The symptoms ceased after 8 days. Best is let your OB know before you get pregnant and get their input on this.
Avatar n tn The jitteriness is probably due to one of the two dilation drops, neosynephrine. This is a sympathetic stimulant. It can also raise blood pressure. Years ago we used 10%, now most practices use 2.5% to decrease these problems.
Avatar n tn If however it become problematic or continues go see your doc, he/she may decide to give you something like Valium to counteract the Jitteriness over a short period of time.
Avatar m tn It would help you to take Magnesium supplements. Lack of Mg causes anxiety, jitteriness, panic attacks, palpitation, fluttering in the chest, fear of the unknown, tics, tremors and many other symptoms. Mg Chloride will help in digestion. There are different kinds of Mg, there are those that will cause loose stools. Mg glycinate will not, so thats one of my choices. They very inexpensive as well.
Avatar m tn ve been having anxiety issues a couple of times a week for the last 2 weeks, and trouble sleeping at night. I fall asleep fine, but wake up with jitteriness and anxiety, where I feel I have to move around. I usually can't get back to sleep unless i get out of bed and walk around or watch TV for an hour. I've tried benadryl, but no help.
Avatar m tn Are there any studies with substituting Tryosine or SAMe while trying to get off of zoloft? I cannot cold turkey the zoloft without withdrawel effects. Would I have to gradually add these and take simultaneously with Zoloft? Is it safe to take one or both of these with zoloft? If so, what dosage? Also, is it safe to take zoloft while taking natural harmones ( cream)?
Avatar f tn m hypo or hyper. I have a bit of anxiety and jitteriness. My heart at rest is faster than normal. I have insomnia. BUT I often get those symptoms being hypo, too. I am also usually cold, have carpal tunnel that comes and goes, am stiff and sore in the mornings. I can't tell if I'm hyper or hypo or right where I need to be and just need time to heal. Compounding all this: I am also newly pregnant, so pretty sure I will need more meds as time goes on. What should I do?
Avatar n tn m having withdrawals symtoms such as irritability, jitteriness, and wanting more meds a half an hour to an hour before my next dose. I have been on the clonazepam for 5 days now. Can someone please help?
Avatar m tn Today I took 1 Vicodin (Labeled M367, 10/325 norco) I took my last Zoloft 14 days ago. I was on 50 mg Zoloft. I took my first Zoloft pill on December 19, 2014 and I took my last Zoloft pill on January 19, 2015. I'm currently going through Zoloft withdrawals and have many of the typical Zoloft withdrawal symptoms. I was just wondering if taking a Vicodin will interfere with the recovery of my Zoloft withdrawal?
