Curleygirl7 is correct the medicine is an anti-anxiety med but one side effect is prolonged ejaculation. I know from experience. I have taken Zoloft for many years for anxiety. As long as I stay at 50 mg per day all is good (not much effect on my sex drive, ejac, etc.) If I up it to 100 mg which I have tried in the past during stressful times I can have sex literally as long as I want to and sometimes not get to the point of ejac.
Hello, I have a question. I'm new here, I'm a 26 year old male and I was recently diagnosed with Crohn's. I do NOT have diarrhea, blood in my stool, etc but I DO have fatigue, weakness, I think I have some sort of arthritis (joints feel weak), but my MAIN question is something to do with the nervous system. ALL of this happened suddenly one night when I took a laxative for constipation I had back in October.
Is it common to have a PE with no evidence of a DVT? Am I realisticly looking at Lovenox for the rest of my life? I am a 32 year old male with no prior history and according to the doctors in good health. A few women on my mother's side have had DVT's around childbirth, but to my knowledge, noone has shown any genetic predisposition that can be identified.
I had ear tubess inserted recently (on Feb. 2, 2010) to help relieve 6 months of ear blockage (no fluids were found by the doctor and I haven't had any ear infections). My symtoms are now worse. s a pulmonary and critical care specialist at st johns hospital, springfield, spoke to the docs and told them that SVT cannot be the case and its more likely PE given the history, only for the docs to refuse it..they thought it was SVT due to the rapid HR and they started treating her for the same...it doesnt make it right, when they are following the procedure for an SVT treatment to the letter for a patient suffering from PE...

This is going to be kind of stupid to ask because I'm sure nearly all of you have been prescribed zoloft for depression, if you've been prescribed it before... but how did zoloft work for your anxiety? They prescribed me some during my hospital stay for my anxiety. I'm already less jittery but feeling anxious a bit still but I know that will take a week or so to take full effect.
For me, I wonder about the long term use of this medication which normally is not used for PE, but is made for use as a local anesthetic. In time, would you end up with a numb penis head or even not being able to attain an erection? I don't know. I would rather try other self-control methods, some of which are often mentioned on this forum by Dalubaba, for example.
I was taking pristiqe for depression and anxiety I'm 6 wks today and as soon as I found out I was pregnant the Dr. Made me switch over to Zoloft for depression. I've heard nothing but horrible things about Zoloft. Is there anyone that has takin it during their pregnancy? What is your opinion and experience?
My daughter (15 years old) has been recently prescribed 50mg Zoloft for mild depression. They treated her for pneumonia? That evening we were on the phone and she started having trouble breathing. By the next morning she was on a ventilator which was doing 100% of the work. She was alert just confused. The next day she was a little agitated and the Dr. said that she might have ARDS. ve already got some good habits---eating 3 meals, being active in PE and fencing. Is the PE once a week or every school day? Ideally, you want to fit in some exercise 5-6 days a week. Walking, increasing your fencing practice, playing a sport you enjoy. Something you like doing so it's easier to stick with it.
Great job on eating 3 meals a day. A lot of people who want to lose weight start by skipping meals and that's NOT the way to go. What you need to do is make the meals healthier.
