t achieve an erection. But flaccid I can ejaculate. I seen my new NPP. She recommended taking Zoloft for my PTSD. Well everything went well, but now it takes me forever to ejaculate. I can masturbate at least 20 minutes and will finally ejaculate. Does anyone have a suggestion as to quicken my time to ejaculate?
I was just prescribed 50 mg of zoloft a week ago. I have experienced alot of the side effects, such as nasua, stomach cramps, headaches, loss of appetite, quivers, and loss of keeping an erection. Im wondering if I took a half of one, would that help in the decrease of the side effects im expericing?
I haven't taken any of the meds you're on, but I did have ED problems when I took Zoloft. It was either the Zoloft or the Atenolol for blood pressure. At any rate they gave me Levitra and I haven't been troubled by it since. I noticed the problem almost as soon as they started me on Zoloft. I'm not on Zoloft anymore but it isn't because of the ED. The levitra worked well for me.
I am 64 yrs old male, have normal testosterone levels and cannot produce a firm erection or erection at all. Its been over a year since my wife and I tried to have sex. I could not sustain an erection even after taking Viagra. For the last 8 yrs I've been on sertralin(Zoloft),piroxicam(feldine)blood pressure med.and in the last 5 months tamsulosin. Apparently these tablets are antidepressents. My dr. prescribed me 25 mg of Zoloft. I took it that night and slept fine, but woke up and realized I could not ejaculate when trying to masturbate. Freaked out, I decided to not take anymore. Of course, I've been reading about sexual dysfunction with SSRIs and I'm freaking out, thinking what if I did permanent damage to myself.

I think the lack of libido is a side effect of the anti-depressant you are taking. I was on Zoloft about 9-10 years ago and it worked great except my physical desire was at minus 100. Mentally, I felt like doing it, but my body said no way not in a million years. It was extremely frustrating, worse than not having any desire at all.
I understand why you would be depressed. You had a bunch of bad things thrown at you at the same time. I believe Hep C is treatable.
Actually the switch from Zoloft to Welbutrin was incredible. No sleepiness. Welbutrin makes you horny, where Zoloft kills your sex drive. Add Angrogel, and I feel like I am 20 years younger. I also have a wife 11 years younger than me. I have had no adverse side effects whatsoever from Androgel. Try it. It works wonders.
I am 26 yearsold. I have always had a very healthy libido and strong attraction to females until about two and a half years ago. I don't know how long it took, but eventually my libido has diminished to nothing for the past couple years. So much so, that I do not feel sexually attracted to females (or males) and I am never "horny" or feel a need for "release".
I had tried to come off once before but i experienced withdrawals in the first week such as inability to get an erection yet very easy to orgasm. Also i just didnt feel well. Do these symptoms last, or fade away? That really is the only thing keeping me on this med. I just want to come off of it and feel normal again

I some time ejaculate with out even full erection (premature ejaculation) I get erection fine in the middle of the night. I do pee couples of time at night.

a couple of weeks ago, i had a constant trouble of remaining asleep, so i took 1 zoloft tablet 5mg, i woke up in the middle of the night with an unbelievable steel like erection, which i havent experienced ever that hard in my life. i always wake up at night and when erect i check my erection, its always soft. the 2 weeks after taking zoloft my erections were better than usual and my premature ejaculation disappeared. even when i masturbate i feel the climax much better.
It all started about 2 years ago, I had a sexual encounter in which I lost my erection and my ex girlfriend got extremely upset. I've been to hell and back when it comes to depression medications. I've been from through Celexa, Paxil, an antipsycotic called Perphenazine, Lithium, Currently take Wellbutrin and Clonezepam and I"m about at the end of my rope. Every SSRI that I took made me totally impotent and at the age of 25 I'm not willing to give up my sex drive without a fight. I fear that I have to accept that SSRIs are the medications that I respond best to.
My husband has had problems with ED for a while, due to medication. For a very long time I was very ill and so we had an essentially sexless marriage for a couple of years.
