Zoloft and jitters

Common Questions and Answers about Zoloft and jitters

zoloft

Avatar f tn ve been on 50mg of Zoloft for a year now. I too had the shakes and jitters at first. I also had somewhat of a twitch. it all went away about a months in. except the twitch. sometimes I still randomly get where my hand or foot will just like jerk outta no where. sometimes I dont even notice it. other times when I'm doing something like eating it gets annoying. but its not constant and is tolerable. I also still like tap my foot or something like all the time. but that's tolerable too.
Avatar n tn I been on Paxil and kolonopin for the past month and a half and so far so good. Zoloft always made me feel numb and I didnt like the side effects. The even put me on buspore and that really didn't work for me. It made my panic attacks worse. Lexapro was a bust also but now the meds I'm. Taking make me feel great and I can still function through the day. Prayer helps to because no matter how many pills the doctor can put you on only God can make you and take you through anything.
Avatar f tn but I can only take one Benadryl anyway as 2 gives me jitters. Tonight I will just take the Ativan. Hopefully get some sleep. The Zoloft in morning at least kept me awake during the day but now I am pretty tired. I was on Zoloft years ago and wasn't on Ativan. Hopefully next week can bump it to 25 mg like I was supposed to. Anxiety still there and I don't like to be on Ativan if I don't need to.
Avatar f tn Jitters never stopped so I was switched to Zoloft the next day. Started at 25 mg for a week. Jitters seem to be fading with the Prozac leaving my system. The 2nd week I was raised to 50 mg. jitters are back!!! Thought I might try to ride it out for a week or so, but maybe these are not for me????
Avatar f tn I have the same issues & I did go to a sleep clinic & they said I have Apnea. I cannot get used to my machine & therefore I don't use it. I was told that I tend to hold my breath when I am in REM & on a scale for Apnea I was only a 6. Anyways...I have anxiety/MVP too & I went back on Zoloft (75mg) & 0.5 Xanax at bedtime. I no longer am waking gasping for air...but I am waking up with inside jitters, that go away after I wake up & get on my feet...
11388046 tn?1418563221 I was on Zoloft for several years for anxiety and it worked wonders. I tapered off and after a few months felt that I needed to go back on it. My doctor started me on 50 mg and I felt some side effects, difficulty staying asleep, restlessness, jittery/tingly feeling. After about a week these side effects stopped and I started feeling better. Wednesday my doctor upped my dose to 75 mg. It is not Sunday morning and I have not really slept since Tuesday night before I upped my dose.
Avatar n tn I don't take zoloft at all but accidentally took 150mg of my daughters medicine. How harmful is this? It's been a few days and I feel like I am having a panic attack and I have the jitters!
5620279 tn?1371400678 I have been taking the combo since Friday and I feel anxious, almost panic attack, and I am tied to my toilet again, horrible sweats, and my legs keep twitching and then cramp up.
Avatar f tn Well it did. A lot! I stopped having panic attacks and overpowering thoughts. Then I felt like I could handle anything and stupidly went off of it. Now I'm back on it because the attacks are back and we're trying to figure out what dose works best. It takes about a week or 2 to kick in.
Avatar f tn I have been on Effexor 75 mg. for a couple of months and still get the jitters, especially upon awakening and afternoon. Should med be upped or try something different. I started tapering down and things were fine so I reinstated 75 mg. Jitters are back. Do I need more med for residual anxiety or a different med?
Avatar f tn I took it for 8 weeks along with klonopin, and I think the zoloft gave me the jitters, so I told dr I wanted off. Friday is suppose to be my last day.
Avatar m tn It feels like I have taken alot of mini thins or caffiene pills kind of hyper anyone expierience this? It started with zoloft then Effexor and now I am on remeron which my pcychaitrist says no way it will hype me up but my heart rate is 130 beats a min as we speak. Does anyone else have this expierience I know everyone is different it's wierd.
Avatar f tn I also get indigestion from the Zoloft and take a gas x an hr later has helped with that. I am new to this forum and glad though it is here.
Avatar m tn I just started yesterday and already the anxiety and jitters cme to a halt. Ativan just knocks me out. With xanax I can still seem to function and it interacts well with my zoloft.
Avatar m tn Stay in close contact with your doctor during the six-week breaking period, and if you have trouble with jitters or whatever, do not hesitate to phone and report or ask for more help.
Avatar f tn So I was taking Paxil for the past 2 years at very low doses.. Weaned myself off, but after two weeks off it decided it wasn't the right time and went back to it due to reemerging anxiety and depression. When I reinstated it at a very low dose I got a bad reaction, I felt horrible increased anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation(for the first time in my life) and burning sensations on my scalp and hands.
Avatar m tn I too have just start on Zoloft..im tapering off Paxil to go on Zoloft...20 mg of Paxil at night and 25 mg of Zoloft in the morning...I too Have the big D..along with increased anxiety and depression...some tremors. I have been in bed for 5 days now just praying it goes away. It has been 7 days and I know I have to give it time...we are moving from florida to kentucky and my husband has been in kentucky for the past month while I have been here falling apart..
Avatar m tn I've searched the web and here and no really good answer. I'm taking a Sonata about 3 or 4 oclock in the morning. It does cause some jitters next day. Now I've started Sam-e and a Super Beta Complex and the Jitters are unbearable. I take some Xanax and it helps some. I can't take much and still function. The question is ... Is it the Sam-e or the Super B Complex causing the extreme jitters or anxiety?
Avatar n tn Omg me too i daydream about her so much...her little mouth her little feet her little face and then i look at her clothes and stuff and get sooo anxious ...but before we even kno it they'll be here i keep telling myself that. Patience!
Avatar f tn I'm nearly 34 weeks and it still hasn't sunk in! I'm excited and scared as I'm miles from family and friends and my partner works long hours.
Avatar f tn i have jitters in my stomach and cant stand to be closed up in a room or alone and my breathing is heavy what do i do?
Avatar f tn I just want to add that I totally agree with cj and JS 100%! SSRI's often make you feel worse before they make you feel better, and like cj said, simply being wrought with anxiety in the first place makes us super sensitized to every little symptom and sensation. Then, we start reading about the med...and BAM...we are convinced we have every side effect listed. If you can TRY to tough it out...
Avatar m tn i have tried cbt and exposure and prevention. i have tried several meds and talked to several therapists. the only person that can help me is myself and that is hard. it started with germs in particular poop but now its straight hiv phobia. i see red i think blood if i have a cut i think blood is gonna get in it. i have thoughts and they feel real then i feel dirty after. for example im deathly afraid of sanitation boxes in public bathrooms.
Avatar f tn I have taken Zoloft, Lexapro, Prozac, and Wellbutrin. I know it works differently for everyone, but what I am asking for is YOUR experiences. Thank you.
2198057 tn?1338531205 Yup, I have increased the zoloft to 100mg and having bad jitters and worrying a lot. I have to go back to the doctors today and cannot even bear to get on the bus, so I am walking about 3 miles to get there. My perscription for clonazepam has run out (10 pills) and so I am a wreck. Because I fainted on the bus about a month ago and ended up at emerg by ambulance, I am scared to get back on there without clonazepam.
