zoloft

Avatar f tn So now i went back on my old anti depressant bupropion 150mg never had any side effects before...now i started having the flushing i had when i took the zoloft. So miserable. Anyways im gonna stop these anti depressants and try some natural stuff.
Avatar f tn Mainly random flushing, I feel my body heat up and then my palms and fingers will go red, and then my ears and nose, sometimes my chest. There's no rhyme or reason to it. It can happen on and off 20 or more times in a day for several days and then nothing and etc. I also have breathing problems once in a while, hard to get a deep breath. Constant fatigue, my body aches like I'm getting the flu (every day), menstrual cycle comes and goes and weight gain.
Avatar f tn On a brighter note (if there is such a thing) - I had posted earlier today about my sister and coke (Thanks Gizzy, Kris, and all!!) As I said, I had about a 6 year battle with xanax and have been off for over a year). Last week we had to put my grandmother in a nursing home, and I went to visit her yesterday. Even with all this stuff going on with my sister I am pretty proud. I had taken all of her meds to the nursing home and given them to the charge nurse.
398942 tn?1201253379 Everything but the flushing, wheezing and shortness of breath have been an ongoing problem for about 7-8 years now. I also have lost my voice and it's been beyond hoarsed for 7 weeks. My blood pressure has also been spiking beyond control with the worse damn headaches I have ever had. The problem with carcinoids is, they mimic so many other non threatening diseases and they are VERY difficult to diagnose.
401095 tn?1351391770 Then a few months ago i was having oral surgery and i had to take some pain meds. I had to control myself and i did. Anytime i thought about taking extra i would think of two things. 1. if i swallow all i will run out and then be in real pain 2. I remember how hard it was for me to get to where i am at and i never ever want to go back to that....NEVER!! I could never have them in the house with me though if i was having a craving! Those are far and few in between now though.
Avatar f tn Is the flushing in cushings similar to the flushing in menopause? My docs have told me my flushing was menopause. Some people have even commented that I look like I just got back from a trip. For me this flushing comes and goes and I've been trying to figure out what my triggers are. I know it's not heat.
Avatar f tn i know that water will flush ya kidneys, and in turn more toxinx will enter kidneys, more flushing and so forth...so yes it will help to consume large amounts of water. i used to pass a drug test with water alone, never noticed ne diarhea. now if the water will help with the runs im unsure? but if thats the problem use some immodium..
Avatar f tn How are you doing? Havent heard from you in awhile. Go ahead and pm me again if you want. I want to know whats up? It sounds like you are coming a long ways since a couple of weeks ago. There is so much you can use for w/ds. This site is full of great info for sleep, anxiety, RSL on & on. I always used alot of liq. vit/min and bs to get going and used the relaxa magnz, Ds, cal for sleep. The salt bath are great. I got used to my sleep vit I was using and had some issues.
Avatar n tn hypertension or diabetes can be risk factors for SCH, and there are some connections between flushing and hypertension or diabetes, but these are very rare get your red cheeks diagnosed by your doctor, and see if treatment helps.
Avatar n tn Rocky, is the blushing you're describing anything like flushing - redness or a coloration of your face and neck, or upper body and a warm sensation? Have you mentioned the symptoms to your doc? The symptoms could be related to gallbladder issues, however there is a condition that is characterized by abdominal pain and flushing. So have you seen your doc?
Avatar n tn I am newly diagnosed with POTS and have frequent flushing and chest pressure/ pain. It doesn't always seem to be related to fast HR or low Bp.... does this happen to anyone? Sometimes I feel crummy, flushed, lots of chest pressure and I check and everything is ok. I also have frequent pain or discomfort in my left lower chest around the back., sometimes to the middle of my back between my shoulders. Took meds for reflux, didn't change this, just helped nausea. Just curious.
Avatar f tn I am seeing a new neurologist, and really like her. I still have no diagnosis yet, though. Over the past few weeks I have been having a lot of flushing on my face and neck. I don't really feel hot, but I can feel the flushing. People comment on how red my face is. I had a hormone level blood draw thinking I was having hot flashes (I had a hysterectomy last year), but it showed that I am not starting menopause. I have also been having a lot of twitching in my upper lip.
681148 tn?1437661591 Hmm, I hadn't thought about the TMJ being associated with this. But, one cheek instead of both? I've had some more flushing incidents since my last post, but not with just one cheek. And, it was more typical of flushing for me. Haven't figured out what causes this flushing I get so frequently, though, and it often affects the face, neck and chest all at once. Others have seen it happen to me, too, but no one knows what is causing it to happen.
Avatar f tn I have been having really bad anxiety on and off. The Dr. gave me Zoloft and it seems to have helped with my anxiety. But as it is I have a very hard time getting restful sleep. When I do sleep I have ongoing dreams and my mind doesn't get any rest. Now with the Zoloft my sleep is much less restful. Any suggestions?
Avatar n tn In July 2012, I developed chronic facial flushing after receiving two corticosteroid injections in my foot within a 30 day span, and after being prescribed a medrol dosepack for a week during that time. The flushing continues everyday and is often accompanied by a tingling sensation in my tongue and frequent headaches upon awakening. My blood pressure is normal, and I exercise everyday. I have historically had a low white blood count (3.4) for many years without incidents.
Avatar n tn I looked up the side effects of Zoloft and tachycardia or any arrhythmia for that matter is not listed. You may want to ask your doctor about this. It could be some anxiety but the Zoloft should be helping with that by now. Take care.
Avatar f tn Before, my regular routine was taking the zoloft first and my anxiety took over and always made me so nervous in the mornings I would have to take the clonazepam shortly after the zoloft. Is there something stronger than zoloft that may help my severe anxiety better? Thank you so much.
Avatar f tn I had been on Zoloft for the past 5 months and before that Paxil (the lowest dosages for both). When I found out I was pregnant I stopped taking Zoloft but the depression and anxiety has returned. I would like to go back on Zoloft but am concerned if, because I quit "cold turkey", it's okay to do so. Should I ease back into it, or can I continue to take it as I had been? I've tried contacting my doctor but have not received a response.
Avatar n tn It was severe 24/7 headaches!! The flushing was bad too. I took Loratab years back and came off and had 3 days of withdrawals but with the Paxil, the withdrawals don't end. I was told mine were severe and would last 3 months to 3 years but probably years and the withdrawals would start to diminish slightly after a year. Oh the pain was unreal. Constantly feeling like I was going to die, migraines, backaches, crying, anxiety and just plain hell.
Avatar f tn 25 mg because of depression and anxiety caused by insomnia. My MD says Zoloft will help me sleep within about three weeks. Anyone have any experiences to share? Thanks!
Avatar m tn You have to take the control back...stop reading, stop searching about SSRIs and Zoloft and brain damage. The one Zoloft pill did NOT cause any damage. In my humble opinion, you are dealing with severe anxiety, and you need to formulate a treatment plan. As of right now, I doubt you could tolerate another med, as you are still connecting everything to the Zoloft. Therefore, you will likely have another anxiety-induced reaction to another med.
Avatar n tn I have been on Zoloft 50 mg and Clonazepan 0.5mg for years and never had a problem. About 3 months ago I decided to decrease my dose of Zoloft to 25mg as I was feeling wonderful and my husband likes to have a couple of drinks and was on my case about having a drink or two with him. So I decided to decrease my meds. I completely stopped taking the Zoloft - cold turkey. And decreased my clonazepan by 1/2.
Avatar m tn He then prescribed Zoloft (50mg) once a day along with the 2 doses(1mg)ea of Lorazepam untill the Zoloft takes effect. The problem is I still feel like crap just about all day. Dizzy, sour stomach, a lttle shaky, weak feeling. I've been on the Zoloft for about a week now. It's hard, but, should I give the Zoloft time to work? Could I try using less or more Lorazepam? I really want to get off the Lorazepam. My doctor blames it on my upcoming retirement.
459279 tn?1206997145 I was on Zoloft 50 mg for 6 months, blood pressure was up and still was having anxiety and trouble sleeping, so my Dr increased the Zoloft to(100mg daily) and recently added buspar, 3x daily, I do feel better except my weight is going up even with exercise which is causing allot of new stress. Would you agree the meds are increasing my weight? I'm a while make 46, 5'11 199 lbs.
