Im a 24 year female, and recently have been prescribed to antidepressants, and xanax for sleep, I tried lexapro, for a week, but I'm paranoid about side effects, and I started to feel very disoriented at night and had side effects such as, muscle twitching, ticking, confusion, wierd vision change, so I told my doctor this and I was exspecially concerned about the muscle twitching, I get it all over my legs, arms sometimes in my cheeks, and sometimes even my abdomen, my doctor kind of shrugge
This happened to me back in 2000 after a hysterectomy. I started taking Zoloft and my eyelid would start twitching for no reason. Then later I started having uncontrollable full-body temors. I'm now on SS and disabled. I can't work or even walk but for short distance. If I tire at all I fall down and risk having an attack. Hopefully, this won't happen to you. There was no family history of seizures in my family and I've had MRIs which should no diseases.
It is difficult to find much certainty from any information source about Zoloft and twitching, but it has not gone without being noted here and there. Check with your medical professional -- of course -- before changing anything in any way. I am only telling you what I have experienced. My observation is that reducing the sertraline dose eliminated the problem by 80% and that Flexeril, taken as prescribed, only, brought the reduction in twitching, at this early point, to 90%.
Because of this I became fearful and five months ago began having extreme anxiety as I stated. I went to see a psychiatrist who placed me on Xanax and Zoloft. About three weeks into the Zoloft I noted my hands would shake, these tremors I notice are more apparent when I am doing things with my hands, when I lay my hands flat they do not shake at all, however when I hold my hands up lets say rest the wrist on a flat surface and lift the fingers they shake.
My right eye has been twitching on and off for the last 3 days. Today the eye is still twitching but I also have eye pain when closing the eye and with any other movement, especially to the side. It feels like someone punched me in the eye. I have been struggling with a cold for a 3 months that does not go away. Is this linked and what can be done.
Extra notes: I do wear glasses.
I went to a neurologist a little over a month and a half after this started and had EMG and nerve conduction study as well as complete blood tests. All came back negative for anything other than slightly elevated liver enzymes. The fasciculations are worse at times and then I don't notice them for several weeks. Now they are back and I feel as if my knees are weak and there are times when I slightly get off balanced. This comes and goes. I also had a MRI and it was normal.
My left eye is twitching and I know it's because of the pain in my mouth. I ended up doing a ton of research on this because everyone says there's no way the two can be related. WRONG! My left side of my mouth head been hurting and eventually my left upper eyelid started twitching all day every day for about a week and I was so frustrated with it. I thought everyone could see it and it would make me self conscious.
ve had twitching in my abdomen, arms, face, eye lids, toungue, legs feet. Basically everywhere. Recently the twitching has settled in my neck and I see my vision jump but feel the twitches in my neck at the same time, so I don't think it's my eye muscles. I don't have any other symptoms like muscle weakness or tingling anywhere. Just this annoying twitching. Sometimes it feels like a buzzing, like my cell phone is vibrating in my pocket, but it isn't.

On occasion I forget to take my tablet and until last week, no effect was felt if I immediately started back on it. Last week I forget to take it for one day and then restart.
) and now couple of days ago i have a eye twitch, the twitch is under my right eye and i can see it when i look in the mirror looks like it has a heartbeat or something. I do have migraine medicine (called Fioricet) but it not working at all. Also, i noticed i don't have much energy and get tired quickly.

I feel afraid all the time, it´s impossible to go outside, I can´t look anyone straight in the eye. I can bearly sleep, or do anything. My concentration and memory on a scale of 1 to 10 is 0. Most of the time I Feel like I´m going crazy, and feel like i´m alone even if i´m not. My eyes won´t stop twitching, and parts of my body tend to move without me thinking about it, which I think are muscle spams. I´m sensitive to an extreme, I cry about anything.
I read the other threads regarding "twitching" in an eye and that is what originally led me to this site. I am under a lot of stress (caring for my 88-year old mother, my husband has had two open-heart surgeries and my little dog is terminally ill) and I am not sleeping well (never have been a sound sleeper).
Approximately six years ago I was diagnosed with Posterior Vitreous Detachment in both eyes and the "symptoms" nearly make me crazy!!
I am 26 years old and I have never had a nose twitching before in my whole life. So the twitching started at the left under eye area for a few days, and it stopped. And then the left side of my nose started twitching for a few days, and now it stopped.
I have read so many articles online and there is this thing called hemifacial spasm, so people with this condition, they would experience twitching or uncontrolled muscle pulling on the one side of the face.
Anyone else experience eye/cheek twitching? It started around 34 wks pregnant and has been going on for over a week now. The first week it was just my eye. Cant really see it twitching but it feels like it is. This morning my left cheek has veen doing it whoch you can see if you look really close. Curious if anyone else had this?
woke up this morning so far not a bad headache i just know its there and could become stronger. my eye is still twitching though, think i will take it easy today not let myself become stressed and see if by the end of the night if i have a bad headache again. if this is the case i think you are right i need to see a doctor. you can never be too careful with head pains etc.
These sensations also extend to the area around my eye and sometimes to other parts on the right side of my scalp. The twitching/movement is nearly constant. I have also been occasionally experiencing nausea in conjunction with the twitching. A couple times it was enough to make me sick. Aside from It being extremely annoying, it is worrying me quite a bit lately. Are these symptoms a sign of something seriously wrong?

I have had the shooting on my right side of the head and eye twitching. The pain comes and goes last few seconds. The eye last about 6 hours. The head pain last about a day & moved to my right shoulder last about 8 hours. The pain start moved to below my right ear above the jaw line.
What could cause this?

Oh yes anxiety can cause many many symptoms! I myself have had nausea and muscle fatigue and twitching!!! Don't worry and do not gogle your symptoms because you'll only get scared! Good luck!
