Avatar f tn Lol Well it goes into your stomach and is brought to the body from there. The water or temperature doesn't just go directly to baby.
Avatar f tn I'm a 1st mommy and currently touring hospitals which I didn't even know you could do. But some ppl I talk to make a big deal about the room setting. It's like a big deal to some . I'm not looking the Ritz, I just want my baby out safe and sound. Like do I need a bathtub, yoga ball, and a guest area? Do I really need to focus on the beautification of the hospital room?
Avatar m tn I am not sure if his fingers were cut or had precum. My question is due to the high temperature in the Steam Room. If this person was HIV+ could I RECEIVE HIV in a very warm temperature environment. There was no other interaction with this person. Am I at risk for contracting HIV? Please comment. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Avatar f tn Did you try a heat pack or an ice pack. Different temperature helps for different people.
649848 tn?1534633700 m no slouch when it comes to physical activity and if I can push a lawn mower and dig a trench for a water line, I can do yoga!! Throw something out, indeed!! LOL So I proceeded to make him leave the room (just in case he was right), then I got on with it. I now have 2 dvd's of yoga for beginners & yes, I'm still a beginner but I get better every time I do it. There is some equipment that is useful, but not essential.
9624973 tn?1413016130 , and i just realized that my room temperature was 26°. Does anyone know what happens above 25° ?
Avatar f tn I got a pair of yoga pants from maternity motherhood. They have extra room in the belly and can be worn folded or over the belly. And they stay up!
1299678 tn?1327315957 I am nearly 6 weeks pregnant and as stated in another thread I have been suffering with an excrutiating sore throat, ear ache, headache, faintness, hot and cold flushes and sickness since Thurs. I had tried bed rest and paracetamol with no change or ease of symptoms..infact was getting worse day by day.
Avatar m tn Nearly every night between 12:30 and 3am I wake up freezing. Room temperature is 66-68. My temperature usually drops below 95, often to 92 or 91.6. I put on a sweat suit and wool hat and can usually get back to sleep. A dual-control electric blanket helps somewhat but not entirely. My blood sugar is normal at that time, but blood pressure is high (for me--150/80).
Avatar f tn Maybe you can adjust your room temperature or cover yourself with a bed spread or blankets as the weather condition is to minimize the heat loss from your body. Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Avatar n tn Hello, I would very much like to know if doing Bikram Yoga is good or bad for your skin. Basically, it is quite strenuous yoga done for 1 and a half hours, in a room that is generally 40 degrees or 104 celsius. The arguments are that it is good for you because you have to drink so much water your skin becomes hydrated, and secondly because you are sweating for an hour and a half your skin sweats out all of the toxins creating hydrated, clear skin.
Avatar n tn I was informed by her doctor not to give her supplements as they can harm the liver long term. I would like to get her involved in maybe yoga, have massages and maybe saunas... although the sauna seems like a good idea , to help get the toxins out of your system . I was wondering if raising your body temperature would cause the antibodies to go crazy. Any other suggestions that would be helpful to her would be appreciated. I cannot sit around and wait for these diseased to take hold....
Avatar f tn I read at a lot of places that the body temperature changes when you sleep, almost always cools down when you sleep. (I am assuming this is because the body is trying to conserve energy, physically thinking, lower temperature would imply lower change in entropy). However, the other day I slept without Turing my heater on and it was very cold. However I woke up with a much higher body temperature.
Avatar m tn The Androgel bottle says it's supposed to be kept at 77 degree's. The room I keep my Androgel in a roo thats about50 degree's . Could this be affecting the Androgel? It doesny seem to be working for me. Started on 4 pumps and worked at first then it didnt. Now on 6 pumps and I felt a difference but now that has declined. Jusy wondering if the room temp could be harming this drug and maybe why it doesnt seem to be working for me. Thanks in advance, Sutallee.
Avatar f tn Fluids administered to infants at body temperature (37°C) versus room temperature (23°C) were equally effective at hydration. This was the same case in both rotating and bolus (all at once) oral rehydration methods. However, colder fluids pass throgh your body quicker than warm fluids, giving the perception they are better for hydration. This is not necessarily the case.
Avatar m tn the heating in my room was alot thats why my temperature increased...i opened the window for a while now,my temperature is back to 99.4-99.6...thats not a fever so its all cool i guess... my question is that what is my true temperature...the one in which the room was very hot and the window was closed,my temperature went upto 100.4....
9771234 tn?1405793808 Your internal body temperature is already raised. When your body temperature reaches 104degrees it causes irreversible brain and tissue damamge. Same with the baby. It basically "cooks" the brain. That's why you also should never get in a tanning bed while pregnant. It's not from the lights, its because your body gets hotter and it will "cook" the tissue.
Avatar n tn If your body temperature is constant for a particular time of the day or night measured over a week, there is nothing to worry about. The temperature is lowest early in the morning. Maybe you can adjust your room temperature or cover yourself with a bed spread or blankets as the weather condition is to minimize the heat loss from your body. If you are low on iron or anemic, have diabetes or thyroid problems then you can have temperature fluctuations. Get blood tests done to rule these out.
462361 tn?1207858977 Darken your room. Put on a sleep mask. Adjust the room temperature to 65-68 degrees. Remove or add a blanket. Apply calming aromatherapy oils such as bergamot, marjoram, sandalwood or geranium. Turn your clock away from you. Turn on a white-noise or soothing-sound maker. Open a window and breathe some fresh air. Physical Factors Are you in pain? Do you have restless legs? Breathe deeply. Do some meditation or relaxation exercises to loosen tight limbs.
798555 tn?1292787551 Most homes are usually heated to a higher temperature than the recommended room temperature in winter. In summer there are fluctuations in temperature during night and day. This creates havoc with the thyroid medication, and as such the research here, recommends putting it in a ziplock bag in the refrigerator. Recommended room temperature is 20°c (68°F) to 25°C (77°F). If you can control your room to be exactly the recommended room temperature all year round then you have no problem!
