Avatar f tn A lot has to do with the yoga intsructor, the way she relaxes the class and she knows just the right positions for pregnant women. I highly recomend it. To me its more than physical relief. My mind is co clear and put together after that class!

Avatar m tn Before he would want us to lay down with him in his bed or let him lay with us for a few minutes and he would fall asleep. However, in the middle of the night, he would end up in our bed. Now that he is 8, actually he just turned 9, he asks almost nightly if he can sleep in our bed. We tell him no but he will cry and say he is scared or he is sick or he just can't fall asleep. Even if he does fall asleep in his room, he ends up in our bed.
649848 tn?1534633700 m no slouch when it comes to physical activity and if I can push a lawn mower and dig a trench for a water line, I can do yoga!! Throw something out, indeed!! LOL So I proceeded to make him leave the room (just in case he was right), then I got on with it. I now have 2 dvd's of yoga for beginners & yes, I'm still a beginner but I get better every time I do it. There is some equipment that is useful, but not essential.
Avatar n tn with my first I had the cot set up in the nursery and the bassinet in my room, as night feeds are easier then, I couldnt sleep with her in my bed I was so conscious that she was their and terrified I was going to roll over into her! but its completely up to what you think suits you best! afred a dew months, and was sleeping for lknger stretches she went into the nursery!
Avatar m tn t know if Yoga could regulate the way the heart beats. However, I doubt it very much. I would think your father would be placed in great danger if the pacemaker wasn't replaced. His body is used to the pacemaker, and it would probably react poorly if it weren't working.

We have the crib in our room for the baby.. that combined with the complicated fact if I have a c-setion it will be extremely painful to be kicked in the belly. His kids do have a room of their own that they share. They have nice beds, they have a c r a p load of fluffy pillows they have everything they've ever wanted and NEED plus some! I really would love to read the responses that you are going to get...
Avatar n tn Hello, I would very much like to know if doing Bikram Yoga is good or bad for your skin. Basically, it is quite strenuous yoga done for 1 and a half hours, in a room that is generally 40 degrees or 104 celsius. The arguments are that it is good for you because you have to drink so much water your skin becomes hydrated, and secondly because you are sweating for an hour and a half your skin sweats out all of the toxins creating hydrated, clear skin.

No Lie, less than 5 min later another co-worker told me to wipe my face goes it was shiny (oily). Can't win. Pregnancy definitely has it's highs and lows. The symptoms you are describing sound pretty typical. I think the energy burst come later... Getting involved in a pregnancy fitness group sounds like I could help.
99457 tn?1321878677 we coslept with TJ up til the point he began kicking us (he tends to roll toward us and kicks us in the belly, lol). So a total of maybe 2 months. mainly we'd let him fall asleep with us and transfer him to his bassinet or crib and then in the mornings when he'd wake up at 5 or 6am we would bring him in between us so he could snuggle and we'd all go back to sleep for another hour or two.

Avatar f tn I'm really confused with what I can do to work out. I used to do hot yoga but have switched to the warm room instead. I'm confused now as to being on my back for part of the class. Everything I read says yoga is safe but not to be on your back.(?) The prenatal class doesn't start until March. Will I know if I've been on my back too long?

The burning that pain meds. did not touch feel better . Plus the meditation with movement was great. The time went by very fast . can't wait till i know enough to do it at home safely. And don't over do it .
Avatar n tn It's a great addition. Yoga tends to be more mussel building and toning your body, when working out to loose weight you need a good combination of cardio and body toning. I love doing Yoga and it's very helpful to me, but if I didn't walk/run on a treadmill I wouldn't have lost any weight.
Avatar f tn s prenatal yoga in YouTube. Its about half an hour video and she has simplified the asanas for pregnant women. I would recommend watching and doing one asana at a time so that you get the right muscles to work on. Don't forget to ask your doctor before starting and generally its a good idea to start and end the yoga with pranayam exercises like om-vilom, for warm up and cool down. Its not part of the video but you can find them too on you tube. all the best.

Avatar n tn I do basic yoga asana (asana means that it is less cardio more posture and stretching) since the beginning of my pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks on Tuesday and it relieve my minor pains (hips, pelvic, lower back, buttocks and thighs). It also help to have a good posture and strengthen your core muscles for birth and baby position. It is great to take that time for you to relax. Sincerely, yoga is a revelation for me.
