Thank you for the information, the problem is, I never heard about nuva ring here in Indonesia. I'm afraid there is no nuva ring yet, I ever tried IUD, BC pills, and hormone injection, I would like to change to hormone injection, but I don't know it could affect my uterus recovery or not?
Look it up. YAZ is the worst birth control out there and has done a lot of damage. I switched to the NUVA RIng. No weight gain, no chemicals, stays in for one month. I take mine out during intercourse, but it's still affective for three hours. Once were ready to have kids just take it out and keep it out and within a month or two (a friend of mind was pregnant in 3 months after taking hers out) we should be pregnant.
m sure that it has something to do with the hormones in the nuva ring, some birth controls shorten or take your period away depending on what's in the birth control. Planned Parenthood told me that mirena is progesterone only and that is why it takes your cycles away and I think Nuva Ring has progesterone in it as well.
I'Ve been on 125mcg of synthroid and the Nuva ring for 10 years. My levels have been solid, hanging around 1. Only in past 8 months have my levels been hanging around 10. My doctor thinks it;s because of my Nuva ring. Why would this be the case after 10 years? Thoughts?
I also have had a past of severe migrains and some have been highly affected by yaz and nuva rings.. so i was thinking a copper IUD would be the answer. I dont agree with not having my period, I want to keep things as regular as possible. I do plan to have kids later in life.. and im not worried about the heavy periods or cramps. does anyone have and advice.. recommendations or concerns that I should know about before I go for it?
I've been on the Nuva Ring for almost two and a half years. My whole family is very fair-skinned, so I've always had very visible veins my whole life. However, it wasn't until I began the Ring that I noticed my first varicose veins on my right calf. I didn't see the connection at the time, but now it's two years later and the same leg is in so much pain almost regularly, and I'm almost positive it is because of the Ring.
Hi, Im not sure if this will help you but i was on the nuva ring for 4 years and i never experiance what you are experiancing but i did completely miss my period once and when i spoke to my doctor i was told the nuva ring is known to screw with your periods wheather it is getting 2 in one month or not getting one at all. if it keeps happening i would get it check out but if it is a one time thing i wouldnt worry about it.
I started using Nuva Ring about 2 months ago. I put it in, the first month, toward the last few days of my period, maybe the 6th day.... I think... My boyfriend and i did have sex within the first 7 days without a back up method but i didnt think much about it then. The first month, everything was fine NO side effects. I took it out on monday for the week its supposed to be out but didnt start my period until late friday and it was very light and only lasted until about dinner time on sunday.
Do u guys like the nuva ring(those of u who have tried it)? I've had it before, but only like three months because it was too expensive. (My mom still paid for my bc at that time). On Sunday, November 19 i began using the nuva ring as a birth control contraseptive. I was using an oral birth control but caused me to experience a very painful ovarian cyst burst. Today is Monday November 20th and tonight i had sex with my boyfriend, which i do quite frequently, like every day, and i experienced some light bleeding. Is this normal and all in my head?

The week before i was to take out the Nuva I started to Crave Salt and my boobs have been extreamly sore, I took out the Ring on the 6th I now have the worst cramping ever and and extreamly light mucus like bleeding.. i have been getting away with just using a panty liner as going to the bathroom wipes most of it away...

I have recently started using the nuva ring and I have begun to notice an odor when I urinate or even just remove my underwear. I have just begun seeing my boyfriend, that is why I began nuva. we have not slept together since I first put it in and I am very embarrassed about this smell. he is my first boyfriend and the first guy I slept with, but I can not go on the pill as I pick up a lot of weight and was very depressed on it. is there anything I can do to remove the smell?
used nuva ring for 2 months took out for the week to get my period had period 5/29/14 i put it back in day 3 of flow had sex 5/3/14 no p/o i then removed the ring after sex and never put it back in had sex 5/5/14 then started another period the next day dr said its because i stopped using the ring here I am 10dpo going by my 5/29/14 period n im having brown discharge n sometimes lil mucus in it couldi be pregnant last had sex 5/14/14
