My OBGYN also prescribed Yaz for Ovarian Cysts to help shrink them, prevent them, from forming, or growing. I have cysts on both ovaries. I just started taking the Yaz two weeks ago. My first week I noticed nausea. I still feel the cramps/pain from my cysts, and bloating. So not sure if that is from the cysts or has anything to do with the pill. My Dr is waiting to see if it helps before deciding what to do next.

i had a little for the first time before my last period and then now i havent had my period for a week and a half and i got the the same thing but more now im on the generic version of yaz and it says there could be spotting is that blood with regular discharge or and infection? should i be worried?

The impact of the shot was not explained well to me and I'm still waiting for my period. 5 months and was recently switched over from yaz to gianvi which is the generic brand of yaz. I had no choice. I had my period around the end of the month and into the beginning of this month like normal. I started spotting around 2 weeks before my next period and its lasted about a week now. I have taken Yasmin(same as Yaz) and generic forms of it for several years, now. I take them continuously, so I never go off the active pills, to repress my periods. They have helped my moods, helped my PMDD, and cleared up my face. I occasionally have breakthrough bleeding and so I go off of the pills for a week when that happens, and have a period. My periods have always been horrible and clotty and painful. Same when I have them now. I have about 2 a year, and that is perfectly fine.

Alright so i have been taking yaz since october. I havent had any problems with it. ive always started my period when it said i should and lasts only 3 or 4 days long. But this past time i had sex and now im worried.
