I was on Lo Lo Estren and it was perfect but insurance wanted a generic so I was given a generic for Yaz. Now I am losing my mind! I am super anxious all the time and suddenly jealous of every woman that my husband works with. I obsess over silly things that I would never worry about before. I am switching back ASAP but I was wondering if anyone else has been through this with Yaz as well. I don't know how long I can take this until the pill is out of my system!

i had a little for the first time before my last period and then now i havent had my period for a week and a half and i got the the same thing but more now im on the generic version of yaz and it says there could be spotting is that blood with regular discharge or and infection? should i be worried?

Has anyone had yeast related complications from Yaz or its generic forms? (i.e. Loryna) I've been suffering from persistent yeast that correlated with my switching to Loryna and I wonder if the two could be related.

I had sex every Sunday since the beginning of the month including just this past Sunday and then I misplaced my bc pack so I hvent been taking birth control at all since Sunday. Your and my chances of conceiving pretty much all depend on when we ovulate. I also start ny new pack every 4th Tuesday. So I either just ovulated or still am which means my chances are probably higher. Most people ovulate 14 days after their period.

and went from 101 to 116 lbs. After the first two cycles of being on Yaz, I gained a cup size. I feel bloated ALL the time, and look it too, all through my cycles, and more so when I have my period. I’m not sure if Kaiser is yanking my chain and just wanting me to take a generic BCP, the only thing I can find is a study published recently in the British Medical Journal. But I thought I would ask, is anyone that has PCOS symptoms (high testosterone, insulin resistance) and on BCP on any other BCP besides Yasmin, and does it control PCOS symptoms? At the time, my doctor informed not to take the generic form of Synthroid. I recently switched pharmacists who prescribed a generic form, Levothyroxine. After a few days of taking the medication, I noticed I had become extremely fatigued all day long and have also recently noticed irritability. I'm a healthy 46 yr old who has been taking Yaz for almost a year. About 5 years ago I was hospitalized for cholic-y gallbladder. I've seen commercials stating a correlation between the Yaz and gallbladder issues; should I be concerned? All my labs have been normal the past several times and the one time I experienced pain in the appropriate place it was diaged as a pulled muscle. Also: how do I differentiate between the 2? I found out at the doctor's office today that Provigil is going generic. Good news/bad news. Bad news is that my insurance has never approved Provigil but my doctor always had a plenty of samples for me. Now, no more samples. Has anyone tried the generic Provigil? Yaz is a combination birth control pill, so if taken as prescribed it will prevent ovulation from happening in the first place. I think that you missed the two pills close enough to your period start date, that you probably aren't pregnant, and the bleeding you experienced was likely your period. However, since you had unprotected sex and did miss two pills, there is still the possibility that you could be pregnant.

I am currently on Ocella (generic for Yasmin), I have been on it for almost a month, I start the inactive pills tomorrow night. Before I took Ocella, I was taking Yaz(and I switched immediatly). I am starting a new birth control...I was on Yaz, but it had me feeling extra odd. I am now on Microgestin 1/20 Fe generic version of Loestrin. Anyway what does anyone know about this?
