I am on my second week of Yaz-put on it for really bad PMS and extremely heavy periods. (When my period came back after having my daughter and nursing her for a year, my PMS symptoms got progressively worse each month.) Now, on YAZ, I am having mood swings from extreme calm to extreme anxiety (close to full blown panic attack) and back again. I am easily irritated and have had heart palpatations since the second day on this medicine.

My TSH levels have always remained in the normal range. (0.5-3.0). About a year and half ago i started taking Yasmin Birth Control and since then my TSH levels have flucated tremendously and they can't seem to regulate my thyriod.... I'm either taking too much Synthroid or not enough.
Hello. I was wondering if I could get your opinion. I was on 112 mg of Synthroid. My results were as follows:
TSH .87 (.67-4.5)
Free T4 1.17
I feel a little hyper. I suspect that I do better with my TSH a little higher. Would the next step be to drop down to 100 mg of Synthroid? Thank you for your opinion.
my son is on 200 mg of zoloft a day. that seems like a huge amount, but the doctor says it's safe. He tried lower doses but kept asking for larger one. when the doctor said 200 was the maximum he accepted that. He does seem to be doing well, but I am worried. what chance is there of his ever getting off of it, or at least onto a lower dose?
I just saw your comment which gives me some hope - I started 5 mg around 9 Feb, upped to 10 mg around 20 feb, up to 15 mg 11 March and 20 mg 6 April (10 days ago). I have seen improvement in depression but still have anxiety episodes. I also don't feel "normal" yet - so I have improvement but only say 50%. Should I continue a bit longer with the 20 mg. Doc added low dose 10 mg nortriptylene which I started last night and slept better.

I was feeling a little bit hyper on this dosage. I was nervous, not sleeping , etc. I think that I seem to do better when my TSH is a little higher. I already had 100 mg of Synthroid, so I started taking the 100's, with the knowledge of my doctor, but by day 3, I was crying, emotional, and not feeling good at all.
My doctor put me on topamax for migraines. She didn't have samples in the office, so she just gave me a perscription for 100 mg pills and said it wouldn't be a problem to start at that dosage. I've been taking this dosage for 7 days, and think it's too much. Is it too late to go back and start taking 25 mg the 1st week, 50 the 2nd, 75, and then 100 the 4th week (I looked up how it SHOULD be taken on the medical site).
My cycle did finally start on day 53 or day 9 AFTER my 10 days of Provera. I am now taking Clomid 50 mg on days 5-9. This is my first time taking the Clomid and so far I've only experienced some mild cramping and mild headaches. Thank goodness. I have a history of severe migraines. Which I have noticed have decreased since my new GYN agreed to take me off the Yaz. In fact, I have even been able to stop taking Topamax.
s possible that the reason your doctor did not give you the smallest possible mg as you requested because maybe the medication you are referring to is not manufactured less than 0.25 mg.

I don’t know why I got 1000 mg a day of riba before, and now I am only getting 800 mg. Just wondering what riba dosage everyone else is taking and what is your weight ? Is there any literature out there that says what the dose should be – if I can support taking 1000 mg. then maybe the doctor will agree.

Hi all, I currently take 100 mg of Modafinil every morning but was advised that I could take up to 400 mg per day.
The doc who prescribed mentioned one tab in the am and one in the pm but I have heard from other people who take it that they find it better to take 200 mg in the am instead of splitting it into two doses.
I tried the am and pm option today but am beyond exhausted.
I would love to hear what anyone has found works best for them.

Endo doubles my dosage of tapazole to 30 mg per day. The symptoms slowed down. Now in March I gained weight - 15 lbs, think I am HYPO so I am going to cut down the tapazole and get blood work done. Diet has not changed at all.
Is weight gain normal after high dose of tapazole. I think it was extreme for endo to put my dose from 15 to 30 mg per day ? My last reading said 19 - after a month of being at 30 mgs per day. Its two months later - and I gained 15 lbs and feel tired all the time.
How long does it take for the body to adjust to 150 mg of Wellbutrin? My doctor said eventually I will take 300 mg of it, but on the first day, instead of taking 1 tablet, I took 2. The first two nights were ******* hell. Had it not been for my roommate's bipolar medication, I would've died or something. I'm thinking 300 mg is too much for body to handle. So I plan on going back down to what my doc said. But I'm wondering, should I skip a day first, then start taking the 150?
