yaz cramps

Unfortunately, I do not have cramps unless I am constipated. Are you? Some thyroid issues can constipate you. My girlfriend was on YAZ and just got off of it. She hated it. She said she had horrible abdominal pain and said it took away all her energy! Sorry I couldnt be of any help.

I too gained a lot of weight.. and had random cramps.. most of my cramps would be in my legs and feet. I would never have a period.. which was confusing for me since I was told by my doctor that It would only shorten my period .. not take it away all together. I also lost all drive to want to have sex.. it was horrible.. I just recently switched back to Yasmin (what I was taking before the Yaz).. I hope the change helps. .. Did you end up changing BC?

I have been on Yaz for 3 years....this past year I have been having issues with having a period. Is this normal? At the moment I'm not only not having a period but I'm also having pain in the lower front like cramps but nothing is happening.....am I ok?

I just started taking the Yaz two weeks ago. My first week I noticed nausea. I still feel the cramps/pain from my cysts, and bloating. So not sure if that is from the cysts or has anything to do with the pill. My Dr is waiting to see if it helps before deciding what to do next. I had cysts last year and had to have them surgically removed and now they have returned as complex cysts. Here in Colorado they are gathering information too about the class action lawsuit.

I used to take YAZ. It helped with menstrual cramps and made my breasts a cup size bigger! But I stopped taking it because it causes severe blood clots and now my breasts have gotten a lot smaller. Can anyone recommend a great birth control where you've experienced an increase in breast size?

Has anyone used yaz to treat endometriosis? has any one got pregnant after using it? and also has inflmmation in the uterus?

Not really a question - more sharing my personal experience with Seasonique. I've read so many terrible things, I was afraid to take it -- so, I wanted to say -- I am NOT having any bad experiences. I'm in week 5 -- so far so good. I was on Yaz for about 2 years -- didn't have any problems. Decided to switch to Seasonique for the convenience of few periods. I'm actually thinking I'm feeling somewhat better on a daily basis (then taking Yaz).

5 months and was recently switched over from yaz to gianvi which is the generic brand of yaz. I had no choice. I had my period around the end of the month and into the beginning of this month like normal. I started spotting around 2 weeks before my next period and its lasted about a week now. Its a brown discharge like color sometimes with little red blood and very small clots. I have tiny cramps sometimes. Is this normal? Why is this happening?

I have been on Yaz bc pills for 4 months now and everything in the beginning was great. They helped regulate my periods, made them so much easier, shorter and lighter. That is until this month! I started my period April 11th, well it was pinkish. By monday morning it came down. Which was fine, regular period. Only one problem...IM STILL BLEEDING!! It has been 12 days! The first few days it was normal, and I only last 3/4 days. But then I kept bleeding.

FRUSTRATED. I'm so I'll. And so easily irratated right now! I started yaz a month ago and was pretty consisitant! Now no period... As of now 3 days late- at one day late I tested just to make sure so I could stop BC but now still no period! I've had cramps for over a week now! I'm getting so irratated.

Question for anyone out there using the birth control pill Yaz. Has ya'lls period stopped completely? Need to know if that is normal.

This is my first week on these two medications. I was told that I have PCOS a week ago. I was wondering what side effects you have had from these drugs. Over the past year, I have gained 50 pounds by changing nothing at all. This gain happened while I was doing 1.5 hr cardio a day with weights & eating around 800 calories. (5'4, 160 now). My Dr. told me that Metformin would help with lowering my weight.Yet, I'm now on Yaz.

i have been on some form of birth control since i was 16 (i think, or 17). i am 20 now. i have been on yaz for the last 2 years. i can't see my gyno, being out of state now, but i will talk to her about this of course before doing it. what should i expect? i went on it initially because i had heavy periods and bad cramps. when i get my period now, it's light with minor cramps. i never had acne or anything, but i think it might have helped clear up my skin a little.

Okay, forgive me if this gets lengthy. I have been on a small dose of Yaz since October. It was given to me to regulate my very irregular (and often absent) periods. At the end of May (on the 18th), I had surgery on my stomach and stopped taking the Yaz. I had been forgetting to take them all month, and had a very light period right before the surgery.

ve been on yaz for about three years and have not had any complications with anything, no nausea, or cramps, nothing.But before getting on Yaz I never had PMS or cramps so that may be why I'm not experiencing the same symptoms as others. Recently I got off of Yaz I got my period twice in the month of February (*****...that's the shortest month and I got it twice! ;P) Now it's march and my period is late...

I've not had any problems with Yaz or Loestrin 24. I'm on Loestrin right now because Yaz made me pretty low emotionally. However, I think because they are so low dose pills, they shouldn't cause such a problem. I've heard bad thinkgs about Seasonal/ique, though. I dunno. I take Loestrin continiously and haven't had an issue, I don't see why you would bother with a pill specifically marketed as "less periods" when you can have them with any.

I have been taking YAZ birth control for hte last three months. I have been having late periods following unprotected sex with an isolated partner (my fiancée). Last month, I was supposed to have regulated (says my physician) and I started on the Thursday in my pack. My next pill is on a Saturday. I am very concerned. It's Thursday night at 10:30, and I have taken some pills irregularly this month. I have no signs of a period whatsoever.

I had been having unprotected sex from July until October. I just started taking Yaz birthcontrol in the beginning of Novermber. I had a regular period on Dec 3rd. Hello, My girlfriend is chinese but studies in America (Where we both live). She had her period around December 15th (she normally has a 28 day cycle). She also takes Nikki (YAZ) birth control. She was taking the birth control while in China. I visited china. On January 7th or 8th, we were messing around and she was rubbing my penis in her vagina area. I did not ejaculate, but I imagine there was some precum. The next day, she flew back to America.

hey there i was on Yaz almsot 2 years ago and was only one for 3 months my period was the full 2 months and did not stop and horrible cramps. and now i am engaged and ttc and have been trying for over a year with no such luck could yaz have anything to do with this? or what else may be thee problem?

Week ago I spotted red blood with clots - this lasted for two days, now back to dark brown discharge. I went off the pill Yaz in October last year as this was causing migraines. Once i was off the pill my period stopped and only came back this month in the new year. While having this light brown period I have had no period cramps at all, slight breast sensitivity-now there is none. Can someone please give me an idea on what this is & any suggestions. October 15 - Started YAZ, also my first day of period (4 days light period only) November 10 - Period came November 11 - Last day of YAZ (first pack) November 12 - First pill of second pack of YAZ very heavy bleeding November 13 VERY HEAVY BLEEDING November 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 Regular bleeding Nov19- 27 light bleeding Nov 28 bleeding gone I went to my OB November 24 and advised me to take my remaining YAZ 3x a day.

If you asking on behalf of a female contemplating the use of the contraceptive product called YAZ or already using YAZ, please tell her that YAZ has been found to be a questionable product for birth control. By questionable , this is what I mean. I have seen commercials where lawyers are telling women who have used YAZ and have suffered severe side effects from using YAZ that they are entitled to a settlement. I conclude that the product YAZ can , in some cases, cause severe side effects.
