Avatar f tn These equipment-free exercises are convenient for home workouts, but can help you get comfortable in a gym setting. If you're not sure how a machine works ask the personal at the gym. Get the OK from your doctor first.
Avatar m tn Thanks for your story.......

Avatar f tn Unless your doc put you on restrictions you can pretty much do anything especially if you were active before being pregnant. Just listen to your body and don't over do it. Yoga is always good.
Avatar f tn It makes me feel amazing without over working myself! I was wondering if you ladies had anything you do to stay fit and healthy?
Avatar n tn I want to workout my abs and thighs. Any workouts that you have in mind to help me workout?
483733 tn?1326798446 I was definitely skeptical at first because I sort of just expected to walk in place for 45 minutes but there is more to the workouts than that and you do a lot of upper body work too which is great. You can take the workouts mile by mile if you want to, and add on when you're ready. One of the first things I noticed after doing my dvds for a little while is that my booty got lifted which was awesome lol.
Avatar f tn I was reading yesterday that when you start working out and your pregnant, you start off small and increase as you go! Try starting off with simple walking and work your way up each week!
Avatar n tn Do you do any strength training? A light weight work out would be excellent for you. If you do Zumba, do you go to a work out facility? They are excellent for the right equipment. AND, they often have trainers and for a fee, they can get you started with what to do with the weights. I bet, though, even if you don't use a trainer, that someone that works there would walk you through a work out.
Avatar f tn I would be very proud going to the gym.... Showing everyone that I am expecting and still can do light work out. Remember you are pregnant not sick.... If I see you in the gym pregnant doing work out I would say wow what a lucky baby are carrying. She or he will have a very healthy mum...
Avatar f tn After a month you may add some more exercises to your schedule like little weight training along with other equipment you have. You can also add Yoga at any stage. Be careful to eat balanced diet. Avoid taking sugars and fat in your diet. Losing weight is a slow process and issued not expect body changes before 2 to 3 months. I hope this helps.
1292438 tn?1276120904 Tighten your core and hold it that way for the duration of the exercise [A]. Lift one foot off the floor and slowly raise your knee as close to your chest as you can without changing your lower-back posture. Then repeat with your other leg. Alternate back and forth for 30 seconds. If that’s too hard, place your hands on the floor or a bench.
Avatar n tn What do you ladies do for workouts while pregnant? Any schedules or specifics you follow? Any good advice? Im really trying to keep my body in shape.
Avatar f tn Boppy pillow (most covers have a strap to pull out to keep baby up so he or she can sit beside you on the couch and interact without actually always being held. 8 .
Avatar f tn If you don't like workouts like me, try beach bodys rockin body workout (its kind of like zumba but not as intense). Its super fun and easy. Plus it doesn't look like you're working out, just dancing. Don't let anyone keep you down. You'll get to your goal weight! I believe in you! Same with you morgan1342.
Avatar f tn s fine because to burn fat you need to use the aerobic system, which you use when you do mild to moderate activity for a longer amount of time. Exactly why you rarely see fat marathon runners. If you are really out of shape, do mild activities for a prolonged amount of time, for example, go for a slow walk for an hour, rather than a brisk walk for ten minutes and you will burn more fat that way. The longer you get the aerobic system working for, the more fat you burn.
10840278 tn?1424816083 When cardiovascular exercise is performed in the morning, you can increase metabolism during traditionally slower times which results in a greater overall daily calorie burn. Another benefit from morning cardio workouts is that completing your cardio early prevents putting it off later due to a hectic schedule or fatigue. While splitting your routine for morning cardio and evening weight training is best, schedules may not allow this type of regimen.
Avatar f tn m quite tall). Hope you find something that works for you!
Avatar f tn I've had the same problem my whole first trimester. I'm almost in my second as well so I hope to start working out again soon. In the meantime I go to the pool when I can and do some swimming and stuff.
Avatar f tn do any of you used to workout before you found out you were pregnant? do you still workout? I used to go 4-6x/wk and now I only go 2-3x. it's freaking me out. I was trying to lose fat before. I'm about 25%bf and I'm losing the little definitions I gained because I lack motivation to workout. and being nauseous all the time doesn't help either. I want to keep working thru the pregnancy and be in 'shape' for labor.
Avatar m tn I can't think of any exercises you could do with your hernia
Avatar n tn If you really want to get over this fear, take a pregnancy test. It will put your mind at ease so you can stop thinking about it.
