uroxatral

Avatar n tn I have been experiencing retrograde ejaculation from taking Flomax and Uroxatral for several years. Will normal ejaculation return if I stop the medication? How long will it take?
Avatar m tn I am currently taking uroxatral and avodart daily, and am curious as to why I am still having symptoms. Is it possible of being overmedicated? Or is there something that has been missed? If so what other possibilities are there?
Avatar m tn t know what triggers this problem and there is no cure. Uroxatral is an excellent option and you have gotten at least a partial response-- good. There is no risk of cancer or other serious impairment or long term damage to your pelvic organs. Symptomatic relief with Uroxatral, and possibly antiinflammatory agents give many men some relief.
Avatar f tn While there is the possibility that your biopsy will yield cancer, it is likely that the increase in PSA is due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Some men do develop progressive frequency as a symptom of prostate cancer. in th majority of cases, however, the symptoms are do to benign hyperplasia, not cancer. You should continue to have regular follow-up with your urologist who, based on your biopsy results and your PSA values, can recommend how to best manage your situation.
Avatar m tn Also, I am not in any pain at all during the day in any part of my body so that's why the problem is so strange because it's just the single symptom...

Avatar n tn (By the way, an earlier ultra-sound revealed that this same ureter is much larger than normal.) He mentioned a possible surgery for reimplantation of the ureter. After the cystoscopy, my urologist ordered a Uro Dynamics test. He was surprised by results, which showed a strong bladder function and even too much pressure inside the bladder. Based upon what he saw with cystoscopy, he expected to confirm a decompensated bladder. He and the 11 urologists in the group have never seen such a scenario.
Avatar m tn If only the swelling but not the pain returns, I cannot explain. I would recommend just observing what is happening every few months. You could try a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofen for a week or two. If you are not allergic, do not have any problem with kidney function and do not have any ulcer history, you could take 600mg.four times per day for a week and see if this makes a difference.
Avatar m tn Welcome to our Forum. Unfortunately, your problem is not unique. In your detailed history, you did not mention what the symptoms are that continue to trouble you- perhaps you could describe then although I doubt that they will change the observations and suggestions I make below. Several comments due occur to me related to these issues. 1. The therapy you have had is more than adequate therapy for typical STDs and epididymitis arising as a complication of these infections.

Avatar m tn There is Clonazepam. Also known as Klonopin. Which is an anxiety med. My question is what has your question got to do with anxiety? I'm a little bit confused. Avatar f tn Give the medication at least 2 weeks and see if the response is good. If this is a fungal infection, antifungal and corticosteroid creams may be able to help. Is the spot itchy? Is there any scaling present? Any associated white lines and redness in the nearby area? Observe if the rash is enlarging. Also, fungal infections may present with itchiness and there may be a well defined reddish border delineating it from surrounding normal skin.
Avatar f tn I don't know if your medication is causing it, but I can tell from your previouis post and this on that you are having a terrible time. I will try to be brief since I am a little preoccupied at this time, so forgive me if I sound brusque. It usually doesn't last. At least for me. it was a big feature of my psychosis which happened during the depressed cycle of my bipolar disorder.
Avatar n tn I notice my urine stream is weaker than it has been in the past, and my ejaculation is weak as well.

I felt my upper right tummy pain so I saw the GP. He let me did an ultrasound. It came up with a very early stage fatty liver. My ALP also raise. Since it rise, never go back to normal. After a year, I was diagnosed with diabetes and high cholesterol. I don't like red meat so I didn't eat enough red meat. My iron is very low.
