uroxatral

Avatar n tn If that is the only feature you're concerned about Uroxatral is less likely to affect ejaculation.
Avatar m tn I explained that the pain was still present and I was experiencing coldness in the tip of my penis. He prescribed Bactrim and Uroxatral. This helped, but faded like the previous attempts. Over the course of the past two years I have been pumped full of antibiotics. The last one was 750 mg of Levaquin. This is some serious stuff. I thought I was going to die at one point. This took care of the pain and I have regained normal urinary function.
1846163 tn?1331048748 I am cures Ty on Vytorin and will be starting therapy soon, I have read that someone on a cholesterol lowering drug should not be on this drug. Can you tell me why?
Avatar m tn I have had an ultrasound of the prostate which checked out fine and have been tested for chlamydia and gonorhea, which both came back negative. I am currently taking uroxatral and avodart daily, and am curious as to why I am still having symptoms. Is it possible of being overmedicated? Or is there something that has been missed? If so what other possibilities are there?
Avatar f tn There is another class of medications, such as Uroxatral, which can help shrink your prostate and improve your symptoms. the results of this class of medications, however, often take many weeks before they make a major differences. Ultimately, flomax and drugs like uroxatral can be combined to give maximal medical therapy for BPH. Sometimes men continue to have problems and may be candidates for surgical intervention to improve symptoms.
Avatar m tn t know what triggers this problem and there is no cure. Uroxatral is an excellent option and you have gotten at least a partial response-- good. There is no risk of cancer or other serious impairment or long term damage to your pelvic organs. Symptomatic relief with Uroxatral, and possibly antiinflammatory agents give many men some relief.
Avatar n tn I have been experiencing retrograde ejaculation from taking Flomax and Uroxatral for several years. Will normal ejaculation return if I stop the medication? How long will it take?
Avatar n tn I am still seeing a doc and will keep you up to date.
Avatar n tn The sequence includes nerve impulses in the brain, spinal column, and area around the penis, and response in muscles, fibrous tissues, veins, and arteries in and near the corpora cavernosa. Damage to nerves, arteries, smooth muscles, and fibrous tissues, often as a result of disease, is the most common cause of ED.
Avatar m tn I was exposed to an STD 6 months ago and developed urethritis/epididymitis at first and then developed prostatitis. All std tests and urinalysis have come back negative and I've tried the following antibiotics/therapy: May 2011 GP - all std tests came back negative and urine was "clear" of bacteria. No abnormal WBC or RBC's. Diagnosed with epididymitis and urethritis – clear discharge and testicular pain (unilateral pain on left testicle).
Avatar n tn I am 58 yrs old, have BPH and had not taken medicine for the condition, as symptoms were not that bad. While in S. America in November, I had pain which was thought to be from kidney stones. I was given scopolamine. The doctor didn't ask about BPH and I didn't know that the med had side effects related to prostate. It became hard to urinate any more than small quantities at a time. I began retaining fluids, something that was determined after I returned home to US.
5373017 tn?1367136199 Other than stop taking the med is there anything that can be done for this type of ED and why did it not affect me the first 12 yrs? I think dropping testosterone levels might be the cause, maybe TSH. I need help. It is odd that alot of guys in their early 20 r having ED proplems. What is causing theirs could affect us older guys too!
Avatar m tn Hi Trucker, There are natural ways out of both of your problems, just googel natural ways out of high blood pressure, and natural ways to get cholestrol down, once your free of these druge your ED should go naturaly and you the should be back to normal.
Avatar m tn Please do more web searches and DO NOT use Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra. I also have RP and ED. I bought L-arginine/Orinithine but am wary about using until I read that it's ok. Blood flow changes seem to be very bad to already bad retinal cells.
Avatar f tn This is the best and safest way I have found, and I think everybody should know about this new idea to help men like me who has ED. Learn about this great ED invention at www.naturaledsolutions.com You will not be disappointed.
Avatar n tn Men usually use pills for ED so they can have sex, not to masturbate. Why on earth would you waste pills and not want to actually have sex? I would keep a close eye on him and try to get to the bottom of it. Good luck!
Avatar f tn How glad am I for you!!!!!!!! Nice to know you and Mr. Ed did not fall of the face of the earth lol!! Congrads on the clean time! Kiss Mr. Ed for me OK?
Avatar n tn I actually have no idea but off hand I am thinking there are so many origins to ED that probably understanding how ED itself works might be the place to start. http://www.bumc.bu.
Avatar n tn My wife was in menopause and having hot flashes at the time so at her suggestion I didn’t try to pursue the ED problem. I’m now 67 years old and I haven’t had sex for years. I get an occasional stiffening of the penis during sleep sometimes, but not hard enough for penetration. I would like to recover from ED. Do you think it would be OK to suggest or ask my doctor about testosterone or other medicine? What would be the best approach?
Avatar m tn I have been having issues since 2007 and up until nearly 2 years ago, I had 10 stents + triple bypass. In 2007 I was diagnosed as having very high cholesterol and this was brought under control with Lipitor. Even with low cholesterol, I formed blockage after blockage. Looking back at my images, it appears that all disease that existed, continued to grow. No new disease seemed to form. Even 10% blockages grew to 90% + and had to be stented.
