Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.
Mother had been experiencing dreams, nightmares really centering on the things she fears the most - abandoment, loss of control of her money, being pushed down the stairs, etc. These dreams were very real to her and she would then argue with her husband about why he said he wanted to do these things to her. He, of course, knew nothing of these "conversations and situations" she thought were so real.

Then whatever they say something is going on and you need to seek more answers for him, ask for another opinion, ,as he has had a diagnosis of early Alzheimers maybe this is part of it, there is a new med coming up called Rember', it should help a lot of people Google it to get the latest information, it is on the 3rd year of Trials , hopefully be on the market in a couple and passed by the FDA ..
For what it's worth, my doc had said she has a paraplegic patient who is in constant pain and he couldn't handle the oxycontin but the suboxone did work for his pain.
There is a major opiate in the suboxone which I can't spell but starts with a B. There is also subutex which is the suboxone without the additive in it.

I used the birthcontrol patch orthero evera now iam having these symptoms, which have reduced since i have stopped using it.. Numbness in left upper arm, lumps that comes and go, confusion,dizziness, burning sensation on top of foot, cold sweats at night... I have not yet went to the doctor because i have no insurence and it's too expensive for me to go.
Enough of the old patch was not removed and because of continued leaks I had to have a forth surgery for my head and he made sure to get out all of the synthetic patch and then used my tissue and sealed it really really well. My head only healed right once I had my own tissue. I did not know I had EDS or POTS before all of this and it was a 3+ year process with a lot of surgeries ( I also had shunt surgery to try and reduce spinal fluid pressure so that my patch could heal).
I feel at such a loss in trying to help my Mother. I've gone back to Neurologist and am awaiting his advise, but he doesn't appear to be emphathetic to this issue. Her GP defers to the neurologist. My 81 yr old Mother in middle to late stage Alzheimer's. She is not on any anti-anxiety med except for Paxil which was prescribed about a month ago. She gets aggitated during the day at times and especially sundowners time.
24 hours later it was a red ring. I went out and bought OTC ringworm cream. I used it for two weeks. Within those two weeks the red ring got bigger and darker in color. I made an appointment, my doctor said it was ringworm and I was given ketoconazole cream. I was told to use it for 4 weeks and follow up. Within those 4 weeks I developed a red, scaly leasions on the R side of my neck.(it looks like a hickey, but it's not.).
The problem is that every woman who has hormonally triggered headaches is different and what works for one may or may not work for another. So it is a matter of trial and error to find what works best.
I also had a hysterectomy and oophorectomy. I haven't had headaches but have had a whole list of other problems. The patch was horrible for me, I believe because of the fluctuations / drop in estrogen on patch change days which was 2x per week.
It first showed up when I was pregnant wother my second child I've had pityriasis rosea when I was a teen and that's what this looked like it started on my right brest as a big patch so I went to the doctor and asked to have a recommendation to see a dermatologist but she told me no I didn't need to see one and that it was a bacterial thing.
