I am guessing that you see two different doctors. One for weight loss and one for your ADHD/anxiety. I say this because Basically phentermine is a stimulant (works like adderall), but works differently then adderall. I am not sure you should be taking it with adderall. I am taking Vyvanse and Prozac, and I'm having trouble getting myself to eat. I am still in a healthy weight range, so I'm not worried about that. But I've been weak, fatigued, and dizzy at times because I'm not eating enough. Are there any protein shakes I should try, or something like that, so I can be getting the nutrients I need? I hate most protein shakes because I can't stand the texture, and they're usually gross. But I have to do something.

So I went and visited a general practitioner that specializes in weight loss. He prescribed Vyvanse to take in the morning then before bed I am supposed to take Topamax (migraine medicine) and Trintellix (an antidepressant) as well as a diet. I started on the Vyvanse mostly b/c I also suffer from ADHD and it is really great so far for my attention at work.

No dose seemed to fit for me. But, I lost the weight I was needing to lose (20 lbs) and if I go off Vyvanse, will it come back on with a vengance? I have heard hunger just is out of control when stopping this drug. So I am afraid to stay on it and I am afraid to go off it.

Vyvanse will not make your stomach shrink. A loss of appetite is normal. And of course, if you are not eating, your stomach will shrink a bit. And, I doubt that you are feeling more depressed because of the Vyvanse. You are feeling depressed because of you stopped the zoloft and because of your medical condition. Depression and anxiety are a very common co-disorders of ADHD and while V can help with some of the reasons for the depression. It doesn't happen overnight.

I was prescribed Vyvanse around 5-6 months ago and take it on a regular basis (40mg). I was upped to 40mg about two months ago. I have had clumps of hair falling out, usually in the shower and can noticeably tell that my hair is thinning. I am a 22 year old Female and have never had this problem before. I have no other health problems to my knowledge. I'm currently in college, which is why stopping the Vyvanse just isn't an option right now.

Firstly, your suggestion for the Vitex to raise progesterone and balance estrogen...Those were tested in my PCOS bloodwork. They were perfectly NORMAL, in fact, better than normal. Secondly, my DHT levels. ALSO normal. Thirdly, you suggested yeast infection when I never made any mention of anything like that, and you blamed it on the hormone in balance, which they are in perfect balance, and the antibiotic use, which I haven't been taking that long.

I have been on Vyvanse and i never gain weight also Dexetrine with is in the same family and also my brother has been on adderal no weight gain. So i wouldnt worry about weight. we all took it for adhd.

I hope not because today was my first day and I was actually awake and not groggy.And will I be able to lose weight?

s side effect is to make them hungry and gain weight!!! Plus it helps with her allergies and asthma!! She is maintaining and has grown over the summer... so far so good... I hope this helps you...

I prescribed60 mg of adderall but one week I had to take left over phentermine and 10mg adderall and my focusing was great and energy and I still do take 1/3 of phentermine a day.

He takes 50 mg of Vyvanse daily and was wondering if anyone has experienced this side effect with Vyvanse. Thank you.

t clinch my teeth hardly at all and my wife shared my mood was substantially more positive and my outlook more optimistic. I heard vyvanse is used for ADHD and ADD but the drug, even at 20mg (lasting 8-10hours) has positive impacts on the psycho-social arena. I know of other veterans who the VA put on psycho meds and its tearing up their lifes and the meds they are taking have horrific side effects such as obesity and loss of sight and risk of heart failure....way to go VA...

She claims the adderall gives her more energy than the vyvanse so she takes it when she has a night that she is working late and so on. I am just making sure this is not harmful to her, I am a recoverying addict and am scared I am seeing the same signs in her.......

Hello my name is John and was wondering if anyone can share experiences with Vyvanse. I started Vyvanse 3 months ago and my Doctor started me on a low dose and slowly upped the dose to 50 mg which worked great for me, but I wanted to see if 60 mg would benefit me more. I tried it for 2 weeks and it was definitely too much, it made me very up tight and not myself. So I went back down to 50 mg and now it seems if the 50 mg doesn't work as good as before. Has anyone experienced this?

Now that I have stopped taking Geodon, I would like to know if anyone out there has been through the same experience with weight gain AND if weight loss is a side effect of coming off of Geodon? If not, is it easier to lose weight once you are off of the medication? I have my mind back and now I want my body back! Hope to hear some good news!

I am now 90 pounds heavier (I started gaining weight on the meds and continued after) and not even able to get pregnant (probably too heavy and getting off the meds messed up my system.) I want' to get pregnant which was fine with everyone two months ago before I got off my meds now everyone thinks I'm in need of major help and need to get my head straight. I just don't know what to do because after researching these meds I'm very scared to get pregnant on them.
