I am guessing that you see two different doctors. One for weight loss and one for your ADHD/anxiety. I say this because

I am taking Vyvanse and Prozac, and I'm having trouble getting myself to eat. I am still in a healthy weight range, so I'm not worried about that. But I've been weak, fatigued, and dizzy at times because I'm not eating enough. Are there any protein shakes I should try, or something like that, so I can be getting the nutrients I need? I hate most protein shakes because I can't stand the texture, and they're usually gross. But I have to do something.
Heart-related problems — ADD / ADHD stimulant medications have been found to cause sudden death in children and adults with heart conditions. So I went and visited a general practitioner that specializes in weight loss. He prescribed Vyvanse to take in the morning then before bed I am supposed to take Topamax (migraine medicine) and Trintellix (an antidepressant) as well as a diet.
I started on the Vyvanse mostly b/c I also suffer from ADHD and it is really great so far for my attention at work.
My doctor also prescribed Phenteramine 37.5 mg for weight loss. I take both together in the morning. I do go to him every month and have a check up so he can check my blood pressure...it is always low anyways. But he does keep a close eye on me. Also, if I have something stressfull happen in my life, I drop the phenterimine for a couple of days to prevent an anxidy attack. Phenteramine does make you anxious,,, more so than the adderall or Concerta.
He angrily snapped at me and said will check with my family dr about the Vyvanse - insinuating it was prescribed maybe? He had known all along and in my chart that I take Vyvanse. I just feel like this doctor was mad at me and angry - instead of helping me. For the life of me I can't understand why except that I forgot my bp data sheet. I had the blood work done he had prescribed and we also talked about that.

Since this is a side effect of the medication and you are unable to stop it while in college, I'll give you a tip on concealing thinning hair. I am in my 30's and as you know, being female and caring about your hair go hand in hand. I use Suave dry shampoo to make the hair appear thicker. My forehead area has noticeable thinning and you can see right through to the scalp. The dry shampoo makes each strand appear thicker therefore covering my bald spots, per say.
I would think sleep plays a big part in memory and levels of anxiety. Perhaps the vyvanse stimulation gets me so focused my breathing is shortened and anxiety develops.
Since taking the Vyvanse I find it easier to get up in the morning. I'm more focused switched on and attentive. My drive is empowering and my self confidence has improved.

Firstly, your suggestion for the Vitex to raise progesterone and balance estrogen...Those were tested in my PCOS bloodwork. They were perfectly NORMAL, in fact, better than normal.
Secondly, my DHT levels. ALSO normal.
Thirdly, you suggested yeast infection when I never made any mention of anything like that, and you blamed it on the hormone in balance, which they are in perfect balance, and the antibiotic use, which I haven't been taking that long.
While it helped with Anxiety, I gained nearly 70 pounds in one year. I had always been fit and a healthy weight. Skyrocketing to a huge 210 was unbearable so I quite cold turkey. I didn't experience and adverse effects from coming off Lexapro, but I've heard some do. I've since lost 30 of the 70 gained. I'm 35 now and have just been diagnosed with ADD. The doc has prescribed 30 Mg of Vyvance for the first week, will bring me up to 50mg the second week and if needed 70mg.
On an empty stomach, it takes about a half hour to kick in and always lasts (for me) about 12 hours. You only need to take one. Vyvanse has seriously changed my entire life. I am a much happier, less stressed, productive person. I have virtually no side effects except for a small decrease in appetite and mild to moderate when it wears off. I sleep like a baby, even though a side effect is insomnia. I'm so much more calm, neat, organized, motivated, punctual, and non-fidgety.
As for your exhaustion, talk to your doctor about that too - there are studies that show MANY children and adults with ADD/ ADHD have sleep issues. Both my 18 year old son and I have ADD and both of us have sleep disorders.
You CAN have the bright future you planned for yourself - just please take care of yourself and keep your parents and your doctor informed about any side effects you might have with any medications you take.
I am a 66 y/o newly diagnosed diabetic. Went to hospital with chest pains and found out I was diabetic. Miraculously no damage done to eyes, feet, kidneys but discovered a heart anomaly. I started out at 254 lbs and I dieted all last year and was unsuccessful with losing weight. On Dec 5 my doctor prescribed Metformin 1500 mg at night, but I have been taking in the morning.
