Avatar f tn Vitamin B6 can cause one to have very strange, vivid dreams. If I take anything contains B6, I begin having dreams like that; as soon as I stop taking whatever has the B6, the dreams stop.
Avatar m tn About 18 years ago, I started taking Welbutrin and Cylert (which is now off the market). Although this was just to correct SLIGHT chemical depression and alertness, it also caused a rather pronounced and noticeable short term memory loss! I decided that, either I "cure" this memory problem, or the benefit ratio was horrible, and I'd stop taking any of these drugs. But, I did find a cure--in spades.
Avatar f tn Ive had dreams about being abducted , my baby was a dog. My Dh sold me to human traffickers . Some real strange stuff.
Avatar f tn Are you taking any supplements with vitamin B6? Vitamin B6 is known to cause vivid dreams and/or nightmares. I can't take it more than once/week or so for that reason. Depression and poor sleep are hypo symptoms. Are you on a thyroid medication? If so, which one, what dosage and for how long have you been on it? Do you have current lab results that you could post, so we can better assess your situation?
Avatar m tn Hi there - This is a long story, but I'll try to keep details to a minimum. I am a 50-year-old woman. For over three months now, I've had pins and needles, tingling, static-feeling on skin surface, and all kinds of related, weird skin sensations in both feet and both legs. This came up out of the blue, and I've literally had it every single day, fairly constantly to at least some extent, since it began.
Avatar f tn ve had wild vivid dreams! Myy dr. put mee on Vitamin D capsules because it was low nd I realized I had to start taking it very early because they would give mee crazy scary dreams as well. I guess it's kind of inevitable! When you wake upp just write your dream down. Thaat usually helps mee to calm down.
Avatar m tn s not enough to put in small amounts, they put in up to 500%-1500% of the recommended daily amount. One of the adverse effects I find with B6 is that it causes vivid dreams or actual nightmares, so I can always tell if I've taken too much. I can only take, even the B-Complex my neuro recommends for my neuropathy, for a month or so because I begin having nightmares or dreams, whereas, typically, I don't remember my dreams.
Avatar m tn Dosages up to 500 mg/day can be used in other circumstances. Vitamin B6 can cause anxiety; it can also cause very disturbing, vivid dreams. I have to be very careful with it. You should talk to your doctor to see if that could be causing your anxiety.
Avatar f tn Yes Buspar made me have vivid dreams about the very thing I didnt want to think about - the husband who left me!!! Id have dreams where he would make me cry and say how much he didnt care about me...I couldnt sleep after that....I prefer xanax. I asked the Dr for xanax but they say benzos are additctive...i say: ALL DRUGS are addictive...And if Im prescribed Buspar 3x/day vs Xanax PRN, which is REALLY making you worse? Doctors are not God. You know your body ...fight for what works.
Avatar f tn Nope, I'd say it's normal. I have vivid dreams all the time. Some are rather strange, scary or down right crazy.
Avatar f tn Anyone else out there having crazy, vivid dreams? Many nights, I find myself waking up in sweats and feeling kinda panicky after experiencing one of these wild dreams.
Avatar f tn Yep. Pregnancies give you crazy dreams. I've had dreams about my husband where I wake up so angry at him for something he did in the dream.
Avatar f tn I have been experiencing these so called "vivid dreams" recently and I must say, I DON'T LIKE THEM AT ALL! A lot of the dreams involve my husband cheating on me, and last night I had a dream that I delivered the baby very early, and the doctors made me keep him in a Ziploc bag that was filled with the amniotic fluid and when he needed to eat, I would make sure that he swallowed the fluid.

3236191 tn?1451021479 What meds are you on, and which ones were recently increased? Certain drugs can come with side effects of more vivid dreams, and some unfortunate people end up with more vivid nightmares. I don't know if there's anything you can do about it other than stopping the med that's causing the problem. You can get the full PI sheets for a lot of meds at the crazymeds site, and scroll through to find the uncommon and rare side effects.
