I got huge bold patch too, this is terrible.
I also have the condition of genital herpes for about 5 years now and hsv1 since I was a child, and some times I take valtrex madication due to many episodes. Now im taking 1 gm per day .
Im very worry, do hives are due to valtrex? or
emotion(I am very emotional and a worrier)
hives and cyst are allergy reactions to valtrex or
symptoms of a serious infection like hiv or hepatitis, etc

ve had it for years but I shaved and always thought the one spot I would get on my pelvic bone area was an ingrown hair due to shaving. I had a baby in oct 07 and stopped shaving after that. I freaked when I got the same bump in the same location when I hadn't shaved in months in may 08....went to the dr who laughed at me after telling him I'd only been with 3 people, my husband and I have been together for 5 yrs he hadn't had symptoms....

Is this RH, I ran to the ER and they gave me 7 days of valtrex. the prednisone seems to help a lot at 60mg/day. After 3 days I began to regain my hearing but I still can't hear or PROCESS the word 'heart'

Since having the baby I have lost so much hair that friends have commented about the hair loss. Used to put my hair in a pony tail and twist the band 2x....now it takes 4x. Dr. took me off valtrex thinking that might be the cause... Tested my thyroid in January 2009. TSH was 1.46, Free T4 0.6. Retested in March of 2009 and TSH was 2.07, Free T4 0.6. My hairs loss is still very extreme...handfuls wen I wash my hair. Noticing a lot of bruising and fatigue.
said I was probably having an adverse reaction so he put me on Valtrex once a day and told me to also take Benadryl. The bumps slightly started disappearing, but appeared back. They were not as bad. So, after reading previous posts from the site, I started taking Valtrex twice a day. The bumps completely left....but I would have a couple to pop up every now and then. I also experience a couple on my face from time to time. They always appear in the same location.
I just finished Sovaldi and olysio and no hair loss at all, in fact hair looked great
I do have hypothyroid which is familial, mother , daughters have it,

I have seen a local Derm who said there was no scarring on my scalp and no real skin issues associated with my hair loss. In 2004 I took a course of Roaccutane for acne and noticed some thinning after the course finished. I was told that this was a known side effect, but that the hair would grow back. It has been over four years!!! My hair is uniformly thinned out across the entire scalp.
m natural with no chemicals in my hair and I have never had a problem with hair loss. I went from thick long hair to thin short hair. This is so sad. I'm not sure what to do because my skin has really cleared up from Doryx but if I continue to take it I will be bald with pretty skin! Not a great combination! Thanks for reviews!
