It would certainly be a weird presentation of MS since he has no neurological issues (other than a seizure of course!). so they really expect to find something else but so far this is it. His neuro is consulting with a rheum. this week and we continue to look. The only other test they might do is a spinal tap. So 160 is low for lupus, but still elevated? that's good info to have. thanks.

Then he tried Dilantin which I was on for a week, but he took me off of it after having one seizure. He did a long term video eeg, but I had no seizures. My eeg was normal so he diagnosed me with psychogenic non-epileptic seizures. After that, I saw a psychologist who informed me that I was normal and appeared to have no signs of stress or any inducers of non-epileptic seizures. Then I went to another neurologist who had me do another long term video eeg.
It does still fit the description of a seizure. Not all seizures involve paddling, slobbering and loss of bladder control. Those are basically what are considered to be grand mal seizures. Petite mal seizures can be anything from a twitching of the head to a state of catatonia for a brief time, which sounds more or less like what your girl had.
Please let us know what the vet says when you do get to take her in.

In oct 2012 over a 2 day period, loss use of his right side of body and was admitted back into hosp. where there did mri of head and cerv sping and lumber spine. all somewhat normal as they say. but white spots were found on frontal lobe butthey say its due to age. added symptoms then were core ataxia, spasticity, tremors , he was in a wheelchair for 2 weeks. before discharge they did say he had neuropathy and something with his vestibular wrong.
He thinks he had a seizure during the night. He said he had uncontrolled shaking of his entire body. He also experienced and episode where his tongue started burning entensely and curled to the back of his mouth. This lasted a few minutes, and afterward he was extremely fatiqued. I advised him to see a doctor but he has no insurance. He thinks he had a seizure. He has been having frquent headaches. He is a very healthy young man, who has never been seriously ill before.
Could be the meds and you are having side effects, see the Doc and ask if it could be that and ask if there is something else you can take.Have you tried Therapy and talking to someone aswell?
I have a hugh beach side bonfire going with Native dancers to perform for us. There are plenty of Mai Tai's and kabobs for toasting, The roast pig is just about done, time for hula lessons and singing some songs first. We will pretend it is sunset time in Hawaii, do some beach combing for beautiful shells, have some fresh pineapple and coconut milk. I love the beauty of the Islands and want to share them with my friends.

I dont think they mean insulin stored as insulin your using. once I need a new insulin pen I take it out of the fridge and let it worm up before I use it.
The get has given Rosie my border collie a full bill of health physically...just waiting for results of blood test,but I know they'll say ok..got to see if these fits start again..she's prescribe some diazipan just in case...going back in two weeks...started making a journal and made a list of things to do.
